I contacted them as I live not far from them regarding a blockage in the fire place chimney. Peter came around and not only removed the blockage but repainted the the fire place and all the coals at no extra costs.. The fire place looks like brand new.

Fantastic service. We have used The London Fireplaces twice now - once to have our existing fires serviced and repaired and then again to replace a broken hearth stone. The fires had been poorly installed by the company we used before so I am very relieved to have found these guys.
We were having new wooden flooring put in and when I got in touch I needed quite a bit of back and forth with Agha while we figured out the best course of action, ie. how to lay the flooring around the broken hearth stone so it could be easily replaced. He was very friendly and was happy to answer any questions. He then consulted with Peter and they agreed it would make more sense to replace the stone before laying the floor, so they squeezed us in on a Friday afternoon to get it done.
Peter was again incredibly friendly and professional and completed the work on the day agreed. He completely removed the fireplace and checked and cleaned it before replacing the stone. He always leaves the area spotless and the fireplace looks like new. Most importantly I now know both our fireplaces are safe and in proper working order.
We'll be using them again in the next few months to get a new fireplace downstairs and would not hesitate to recommend them. They are knowledgeable and friendly and go above and beyond to offer help and advice and all works have been completed to the highest level. They do ask you to pay in advance (which I was slightly nervous about at first having not done that before) but don't let that put you off.
