Step 1 crash course honest Review: (US MD student)

Some of the tutors have very heavy accent and it takes away the concentration to understand the concept because you're focused on understanding what they're saying. On top, some of the tutors speak too fast. I am sorry but Dr Mahdi & Biochem guy taught multiple days and subjects and were worst to listen to because of their accent and on top they were fast. It was hard to listen. Even, on video replay I struggle listening to them even if I decrease the speed b/c of accent and not very good explainers.

There were tutors who were exceptionally good in engaging student and even if they had accent they were understandable because they were speaking clearly / pacing evenly and explaining everything. The tutors who did an amazing job were: Neuro, Cardio, Pharm, Msk & Bacteriology, Immunology, Reproductive. Shout out to these guys.

The tutors who were ok (not bad, not wow) were Endo/derm guy, Respiration.

I had a very positive experience working with The Match Guy for Step 3 tutoring. The biggest benefit has been the structure and accountability. I took tutoring sessions with TMG and feel like it helped me. My score was not improving before but now it’s steadily improving because I understand where my mistakes occurred.

I did tutoring with Dr. Kutay, who is a tutor for TMG. He scored 270+ on step 2 ck. Amazing explanation skills and helped me focus on what matters most on the exams. Explains the concepts clearly and makes sure you understand. He didn’t judge me even if I didn’t get a certain topic right away or got it wrong multiple times.

I worked with Aishwarya and she was awesome!! Her knowledge foundation was so strong and she was a great teacher as well. Her sessions were very helpful and I'd highly recommend working with her. She created a study plan for me and made sure I was meeting goals. She also spent time outside our sessions creating pdfs for me and finding more practice questions for me in my weak areas and was able to exceed my goal score by my last NBME practice test!

A great review for Step 2 and Step 3 with knowledgeable, extremely patient tutors! The course is very flexible and condensed to what is most important for the exam. Teaches you how to solve common pitfall questions that USMLE likes to test students. The tutors are professional and passionate about their work. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to strengthen their base or are looking to score higher.
