Non-existent customer service. Avoid

My order was due to be delivered on a Tuesday but was delivered a day later. Which would have been fine usually for any other order but this is fresh meat in the hottest week of the year. The meat was already gone off as it had been out in 30 degrees of heat as the ice packs only last so long. I submitted 2 contacts online to which I got no reply. I called and left a VM, no response. I sent 2 emails to the address on their website which both bounced back because it doesn't exists. After a week of trying to resolve this issue directly, I had to call my bank. This was my first time ordering from them and will never be doing it again.

If I can give less than a star I would

If I can give less than a star I would. Please avoid! I paid over £100 pounds and it been two days past the promised delivery and they haven’t delivered a thing! No body picks up and all emails are no reply including the one they set online. It seems like fraud ! I’ve asked for a refund but of course no reply! They claim to use DPD and still haven’t been contacted by them . I’m gutted that I didn’t read the reviews!
I don’t even know how to report them officially as this is simply unbelievable and it was expensive since I wanted halal steaks . Just go to a local shop or order from a verified website and read the reviews.

Brilliant quality Halal Steak!

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. It’s so hard to get good quality Halal ribeye for a decent price and this was perfect. I regularly buy ribeye form more exotic places for a lot more because that’s all that was available for a proper lol cut ribeye if good Quality. Now I will always order from here for my Halal steak. Came quick too. Top class

Don't bother, they use Evri delivery

You use Evri to deliver food - the shelf life is 4 days for the food, they want to deliver my food 6 days OVERDUE the delivery slot that I paid for, meaning it’ll be gone by the time I receive the package. No one at meatmenu picks up, no matter when you call

Missing order

I usually order from The Meat Menu but for some reason one of my recent orders has been "fulfilled" even though I received nothing and DPD has not even sent me any tracking information. I made this order on the 2nd of May with a ETA on the 4th of May. It is now the 14th and I have still not gotten anything. I have tried contacting them multiple times but their email (copied from website) apparently does not exist. Their contact number returns nothing, I have used the live chat feature and still have not gotten any response from The Meat Menu.

Awful

Awful, hardly any correspondence bar two E- mails one to tell me my order had been shipped and one to say the earliest I would get it would be the 29 December 2022.
I said that's perfect.
I haven't even received my order! We are now on the 2/01/2023 Have no clue where it is,sent E mails and got no response.
Will not be ordering again!
And I recommend nobody else does too.

As per our recent email, we have been closed the past few days due to the new year and bank holiday.
I agree there has been some strange delivery updates provided by the courier company to date and without hesitation have already processed a 100% refund for you.
We will pick this issue up with courier company within the new year, but unfortunately this is one aspect we are unable to fully control.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused and rest assure we are also exploring alternative delivery methods for 2023 in an attempt to keep such delays to a minimum

Good meat and decently priced

Good meat and decently priced, the only reason for 4 stars is I didn’t see the option of how you would like your meat cut eg whole breast, diced etc.

Excellent High Quality

I have ordered Lean Turkey Mince from them many times and the quality is absolutely impeccable. Their delivery service is fast and the meat gets delivered in a secure and safe way.

It is a little expensive which is the only downside and it would be great if they can do more offers and offer free delivery service.

Still waiting on order or updates on delivery…

I was told I would receive the order today but I have had no updates from yourselves or DPD about it. Bought the meat for today as for a celebratory meal but stressed I won’t get it in time. Now I receive an email to review you. So based on still no order or delivery updates , I’ll say experience has been pretty poor.

Best halal meat

100% will be ordering again! Meat is competitively prices and really good quality. I bought a t bone, burgers, beef ribs and some chicken thighs and they were all of high quality. Customer support was amazing as well and food was perfectly packaged.

Great product, weird delivery experience

I ordered a halal rib roast from The Meat Menu. There was some confusion as I was never notified of shipping or delivery status, but I understand that this was on the courier rather than the website. They were very attentive in helping me find out where my order was. (I was told my package had been shipped 3 days after receiving it).

The rib roast was fantastic, it smelled fresh and everyone enjoyed it. I will definitely use The Meat Menu again in the future.

Top quality product and service to match

Very pleased with the overall service. This was the first time I had ordered and wasn’t sure about the quality of the product that would be supplied. I ordered two beef topside joints and hoped that with the busy Christmas period the delivery would arrive on time. I was delighted both with the speed of the delivery and the quality of the meat. Delivery arrived on time, the product was well packaged and the quality of the joints was fantastic.
