Bad service
Waitress when asked what cider and ale the had she didn’t know when ordering our food which where steaks she didn’t ask how we would like them cooked .Meals took nearly 30 mins when they did arrive I had asked to swap out a couple of items in the end all i had on my plate was a bit of salad and a few peas and a steak ,when asked where were the chips ,the waitress had said there where a few issues with customers swapping things out then she said she would get the chief to do some which apparently he did .While eating my steak got the the middle and discovered it was med/rare which was not what I asked for my chips arrived after both my partner and myself had finished our meals so explained not much point having them now .
My partner spoke to manager and she said they where busy and I should have highlighted issues at beginning of meal where the chips where concerned we did as for the steak wasn’t aware till half way through it on.Yes the did give us a refund for the one meal but on the whole very disappointing as this was a meal out for my birthday and probably won’t return .
