Written by the company

ThemeSmith builds websites for small businesses in the UK, and looks after them afterwards. You tell us about your business, in a chat on our website or on WhatsApp. ThemeSmith writes the words, makes the photos, draws you two logo designs and builds the site. You see your home page in about twenty minutes, ask for changes, and say yes when you're happy. There are no templates to fill in and nothing to drag around. After launch, changing your site is a message. A new price, new opening hours, a photo from a job you've just finished: send it from your dashboard or on WhatsApp, see exactly what will change, and approve it. Every published version is kept, so putting an earlier one back is always safe. Every site comes with hosting, security, your own domain in your name, enquiry forms that reach a real inbox, and a privacy page. Every page is built ready for Google, with proper titles, descriptions, a sitemap and business details. On your own domain, we register the site with Google Search Console and show you your search results in your dashboard. The site is checked automatically every day. There's no contract, the first month of hosting is free, and if you ever leave, you can take a copy of your site with you. ThemeSmith was started by Chris Painter, who ran a web agency for twenty years and wanted to build what small businesses could actually afford.

New back office system to manage projects and client details

ThemeSmith provided our company with a bespoke system for managing our clients details, projects from Order to Invoice through multiple stages incorporating our Risk & Method Statements. Before this we had three separate systems.
After taking a brief the new system was 90% done with some minor tweaks to get it to 100%.
Relatively pain free.

Thanks Colin, I really appreciate it. Going from three systems to one was a great brief to work from, and I'm glad the last few tweaks were painless. If anything needs adjusting as the team uses it day to day, just let me know.

Going Above and Beyond for Small Businesses

As a small business owner, I was absolutely blown away by my experience with Chris at ThemeSmith AI.

Chris took the time to thoroughly review my website, identify issues I wasn't even aware of, and put together an incredibly detailed, thoughtful and practical report. From technical problems affecting my checkout and shipping to SEO, Google visibility and the overall customer experience, his insights were invaluable.

What impressed me most wasn't just his knowledge, which is clearly exceptional, but the genuine care and attention he put into helping a small business like mine. He explained everything clearly, highlighted what was already working well and gave me practical steps to improve the things that weren't.

Running a small business can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you're trying to do everything yourself. Coming across someone so generous with their time, knowledge and expertise is incredibly rare.

I genuinely cannot recommend Chris highly enough.

Thank you, Danijela, that's really kind of you. It was a pleasure to look at the shop. I hope the checkout and shipping fixes make a difference, and if anything in the report needs a second look, just send me a message.

Thank you, Gurmel. It was a pleasure working with you on G's Driving School, and I'm glad the site's doing its job. Good luck with the busy season ahead.
