Kudos to Ms. Kristi Schleicher for carefully reviewing my case and responding in a timely manner. For two months, I was trying to obtain a refund on an overpayment of late charges. I spoke with several customer service reps. who took notes and offered to pass the case on to managers for approval. Sadly, most of the managers did not return the call. One said, since the case was closed, there was nothing they could do .... NOT GOOD! However, I came across Ms. Schleicher's contact information and she responded immediately. I'm now looking forward to a $350. refund. Given the current pandemic, every dollar counts.
We contacted Kristi Schleicher to determine the best way to make a very substantial principal payment on our loan with The Money Source. She responded almost immediately and worked with us to complete the transaction in a safe and timely manner. She is an outstanding representative for The Money Source and we can’t thank her enough for going above & beyond.
I called three times for the same issue and I guess third time is a charm because I had the best customer care from this company on my third try. Claudia is a very helpful representative that went above and beyond with my needs. She is attentive and understanding and managed to solve all of my problems in one phone call, after having to call twice before. Every customer service rep should definitely use her as an example of outstanding care to the customers. Thank you Claudia.
They canceled the scheduled payment without explanation. Fortunately, it was 15 days before the due day so I had time to check. Now I scheduled it again, let's see...

I had a serious problem with my loan. I was at wits end. I was contacted by Kristi Schleicher a VP of Customer Experience. I explained my issues, and Kristi advised she would not only address the problem, but make a resolution, and get back to me ASAP. True to her word she not only resolved the problem, but explained the workings of the problem! I think TMS handled this with professionalism, and resolved my worries. Thank You for being so customer oriented.
I'd give zero if I could. TMS Is the worst morgage company to have. Very unprofessional, and hard to get in touch with. I highly recommend never to use them if an option!!

Every time I call TMS the people have been so informative and kind. They are getting the 5 star. However it would be nice to pay ANYTIME and an amount without TMS controlling a payment not going through weekends! If someone has to catch up on payments they have to call instead of paying online which is quicker!
The Money Source has repeatedly sent me incorrect status of my CARES Act of 2020 forbearance term. I have had repeated phone calls and emails with various representatives. TMS even went so far as to send a courier to my home with a letter that they were 'unable to reach me' regarding the status of my forbearance. (I had been in regular phone and email correspondence with them for weeks prior to receiving this notice.) I can only conclude that TMS is engaging in dunning practices to intimidate its customers to begin repaying their loans. I have submitted a complaint to my state banking and insurance department as TMS is in violation of various consumer protection laws and is engaging in predatory collection practices. In my last conversation with Kristi, one of TMS's Vice President's of Customer Experience, I asked her to research whether or not TMS violated the laws I referenced. As of today, she has not responded to me. I am researching refinancing our mortgage as I have no confidence in TMS's ability to properly and legally service our loan. Kindly have someone superior to VP Kristi respond to me and we can follow up with a private discussion.
Called the main # and was on hold for way too long and had to hang up. Saw the reviews indicating I should email Kristi (customer service). I did and she responded within 20 min by phone and fixed my issue. :)
BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE
I cannot express less than AWESOME about Mary, she is very professional, kind and very understanding. She was able to help me and very easy to talk to, all I have to say BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I ever experienced. Thank you Mary!!
I am a new customer to The Money Source for mortgage services. Seeing some of the reviews online made me somewhat wary on what I am getting into. I needed some help with my loan structure and contacted Kristi Schleicher. I was pleasantly surprised by her knowledge, professionalism, and most importantly, her willingness to help. We worked together to get the outcome I wanted. Kristi was pleasant and responsive throughout the whole process. We communicated mostly through emails, but for important matters, she followed up with a phone call. Lastly, she provided me a courtesy email when the job was completed. I felt I was treated as a valued customer and am completely satisfactory with my first encounter with The Money Source. Thanks Kristi!
I cannot say enough good things about The Money Source. They are by far, the best mortgage company that I have ever had! Everyone that works there is always kind and very helpful!
I am new to TMS (mortgage) and did receive a notice that my insurance was expired. I happened to find Kristi (VP of Customer Experience) Kristi.Schleicher@themoneysource
866.867.0330 Ex.0165 and I reached out. In less than 24hrs she had it all resolved! Yes I needed to get some info from the Insurance co and I forwarded it all over to her. She cares about her clients and is committed to their customer experience. If you are having issues contact her directly. She is awesome! THANK you Kristi
After a week of waiting and posting complaints Kristi finally got back to me. She promised like so many others in the Money Source she would fix my problem. A week later she calls me and states she cant do what she said she would and began to negotiate with me. First she offered me $500 off my exorbitant fees money source pulls out of thin air. Then she states she can take off $900 when I remind her of what she promised. Literally, trying to take advantage of me just like countless others in this organization. I am disgusted. Someone please get me out of this mortgage companies grips.
Signed haven't missed a payment in YEARS.

TMS failed to pay my insurance premium from my escrow in time for the arrival of Hurricane Laura. I have damage to my home and no insurance to cover the damages. I spoke to a representative and she let me know there is nothing she can do. This company should be ashamed of themselves for treating people this way.

My experience with TMS has been unpleasant since my mortgage was acquired, however today, when once again I was unable to reach customer service or log in to my account, I looked up reviews of TMS to see if my experience was out of the norm. What I found were a number of negative reviews with kind, professional responses from Kristi Schleicher. I called Kristi and followed up my voicemail with an email. Much to my surprise, Kristi responded almost immediately and even more impressive, she very quickly resolved my issue. If Kristi was the benchmark for the CSRs, working with TMS would be a distinct pleasure instead of a very frustrating experience. Kristi has single-handedly changed my overall impression of TMS.
97 minutes on my 3rd call and no sign of any human from TMS at all. Are we living in 1990 or 2020? Wow! Its high time to see some disruption on the mortgage servicing side. These guys suck to an extremely high level of [not able to find any superlative to match them] crap!! Ask your lender if they ever do business with either selling/servicing by TMS, if they then just move on to a different lender. A star more than negative infinity to TMS is a dishonor to the entire review system on the planet. Wow! Just wow!!!

Dealing with The Money Source has been a complete nightmare. I was in forbearance and decided to refinance my loan. Because of the way they keep records of the loans I've had to call multiple times trying to get information that is needed. Finally, when I got out of the forbearance they are reporting my due date as 1 May. They will not change the date to reflect that the actual date is 1 Sept. Now I can not refinance. It's not like they will not get the payments. Do not go into forbearance with them. They are not willing to work with the customer. But they will offer you programs to keep you owing them. So pissed off right now!!!!!
Had an issue w my escrow analysis called and they fixed it right away. Stellar customer service.
Worst experience ever! We got hacked in our checking account, my husband's VA disability check was completely withdrawn and we are both on disability. It put us in a whirl spin of over draft charges, we couldn't make a payment as it was paid on the first and we were hacked on the 3rd meaning our house payment bounced. We called to see if we could skip a payment or add it to the end of our loan. They said no, so we explain we got hacked and had a police report as well as proof to take all the charges off. They said they needed a letter from our bank. So as of today late charges still there . proof letters from our bank sent thru the email and regular mail. I need a new mortgage company that cares about there customers.
