Avoid at all costs

I am updating my review to reflect the full experience, which has been extremely stressful.

Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, (the next day) it developed transmission-related issues.

On 30 January 2026, an independent garage carried out diagnostic testing and recorded the following fault codes:
DTC 5002 – Engine Idle Speed Multiplexed Invalid
DTC 12D – Engine Instant Torque Multiplexed Network Invalid
DTC 5001 – Engine Temperature Multiplexed Network Invalid
Based on this diagnostic evidence, I formally rejected the vehicle on 30 January 2026.

The dealer accepted the rejection and confirmed in writing:
“Upon return of the vehicle to our premises, I will issue a full refund for the amount paid, based on the invoice price.”

It is important to note that once the faults were identified, the vehicle remained parked for over a week and was not being driven.

Despite this, I was later accused of using or driving the vehicle after raising the issues, which was simply not true.

The vehicle was collected on 10 February 2026 by the dealer’s representative, at approximately 1:30pm with 56,939 miles recorded.

The collection document signed by their representative explicitly stated that the refund would be processed “without undue delay.”

Despite the earlier written confirmation that refund would be issued upon return, I then received further emails attempting to make the refund conditional upon sending the physical V5 document — a requirement that had not previously been stated.

I had already notified the DVLA online that the vehicle had been returned to a motor trader and provided copies of pages 1–3 of the V5 as requested by Phil today 11 February 2026.

In my opinion, introducing new conditions after providing clear written confirmation of refund upon return demonstrates a lack of consistency and professionalism.

What should have been a straightforward statutory refund process under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 became unnecessarily drawn out.

This situation has caused significant stress to me and my young children.

The uncertainty around the return of a substantial amount of money despite written commitments
has been extremely upsetting.

The dealer has now stated that they will apply directly to DVLA themselves and refund within the 14-day statutory timeframe. I sincerely hope they honour their original commitment without further delay.
Very bad that people cannot keep to their documented word.

This has caused a great deal of stress to my young children and I.
I would advise anyone considering purchasing from this business to ensure all commitments are clearly documented and to be aware that resolving issues may not be straightforward.

They finally refunded my money.

My advise to anyone avoid this dealership at all costs!

Do yourself a favour and avoid

Bought this car 12 months ago and have had nothing but trouble since day 1. Even when driving back from collecting it the engine management light came on along with tyre pressure monitor warning. Didn't even make it half way home, less than 3 miles.

Turned around and went straight back. Supposedly fixed, the very next day at work it wouldn't start, totally dead leaving me stranded. Again supposedly fixed, new battery. Exhaust heat shield fell off. Engine management light comes on all the time. Leaky tyres, suspect they just disconnected the Tpms. Water leaks, I use more coolant than fuel! Engine cylinder misfire. Catalytic converter failing. I've limped along for 4000 miles this year. Just failed MOT after 12 months with a list as long as your arm. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

Avoid this place at all costs!

Avoid this place at all costs!

Bought a Kadjar end of July 2025 and it’s been nothing but trouble from day one. Tyre needed air as soon as I picked it up — turned out it needed resealing. Then the car wouldn’t even start — they only got it going by stealing a battery from another car in the showroom.

After that, the “check injector” fault kept flashing up. Took it back again and again, kept being told it was “just a sensor.” Total rubbish. The issue was never fixed. I was lied to, fobbed off, and left chasing them with endless calls, emails, and visits.

Eventually I did get a refund, but the whole nightmare still left me a couple hundred quid out of pocket. Worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favour and stay well away from this dealer.
