Scam

Scam. Avoid at all costs.

I ordered food and clicked the option self pick up. They don't have a working phone number. And the email address never replies. Neither is there an address on their website.

So, they stole my €75.55 and never told me where to pick up. I couldn't get my food (if there were any eventually prepared (?)).

In addition, when you type "De Muscle Chef" on Google, you see only one address - Johan van Hasseltweg 39G, 1069 WE Amsterdam, Netherlands. I went there, and found the owner of the building. He told me that no such company exists there.

I think it will be well reasonable to contact the Dutch police and ask the removal of the website from Google, as well as the opening of a public legal process against this "firm"; using all the testimonies on trustpilot.

It's bad

It's bad. You cannot get in touch with them and they wont refund you the orders that they did not sent

They used to be good, now they are horrible.

They used to be good, but over the last year their performance has really taken a plunge.
First of all, they stopped freezing their meals and then still send them through the normal postal service. I have had several shipments go bad very quickly... and they don't do anything about it. Options like cooled transport using Trunkrs is not offered.

Additionally, customer service is very bad. The phone number doesn't work, and mails are not replied to, and certainly not in time.

About half the time, orders are just delayed or not delivered at all without any notice.

I don't like to place a bad review after one bad experience. But this is the 4th time things went horribly wrong now. I have ordered big orders around 40 meals per order, about every 2 months for the last 2 years, so I do have some experience with them and it's not a one time bad experience. They really went downhill to a abominably bad level in de last 8 months.

Avoid at all costs!

Bad delivery, no customer service

Do not order from this company. The phone number on their website does not work. If something goes wrong with the food/delivery, they will not reply to any emails you send so you will lose your money.

I ordered a lot of food to be delivered on a Tuesday evening. The food arrived completely defrosted and not cold at all on the Wednesday. Which means that it left themusclechef and then stood somewhere for 24 hours before delivery, which obviously makes it not safe to eat.
