The Newton Centre offers Screening for adults and children to see if they have a likelihood of having ADHD, Autism or learning differences such as dyslexia and dyscalculia. This is to help give information and support to those on the long NHS waiting lists or feel that there is something holding you back from your potential, despite your best efforts. Perhaps your child is not thriving in school like their peers and you feel they may need some specialist support. The Newton Centre also offers SEN friendly tuition in English, Maths, Science and Computing for Key Stages 1-4, including GCSE level. We provide a calm and supportive setting and provide SMART tuition which adapts to your childs specific learning needs, and uses their hobbies and interests to improve attainment, understanding and engagement with their subject. The centre also frequently offers information seminars for parents about neurodiversity and learning differences, offers children's cinema nights to members and activity groups so that like minded children can meet and socialise in a safe and supportive environment. We aim to be a safe haven for anyone who are diagnosed, or suspect, they have ADHD, Autism or learning differences, because we get you.

Highly recommend

From the moment I reached out to the centre I have been blown away with the energy and support provided not just for my child but for us as parents too. The town and surrounding villages are so very lucky to have access to the platform, tuition, knowledge and passion you provide. My son is learning more whilst having fun and doesnt complain about going into a learning environment. Bjorn and Prihya have turned our worries around. Anyone dealing with neurodiversity within the family unit, I would certainly recommend you pay them a visit.

First Class in every way

The Newton Centre has been a god send. our daughter got a diagnosis a few years ago and trying to find structured support has been impossible.

i stumbled across this place by accident and within 5 Mins of talking to Bjorn i could tell he really understood and had a passion for supporting young people and adults alike finding things hard in the mainstream system.

even though we had a diagnosis i opted for the screening, this process was quick and simple, the team made both my daughter and i feel totally as ease. i was amazed with the level of detail this simple screening produced, the information was easy to understand and provided the guys with a really good idea of my daughter and her needs.

i have since signed up to the tutoring and i can honestly say the approach is first class, the data obtained from the screening and subsequent sessions has been used in such a way to identify the areas my daughter needs support in, tutoring sessions are then tailored to her specific needs and interests to help with engagement.

if you are looking for a friendly environment with proper professionals looking to provide support for your children look no further, this is the place.

A welcoming experience

Bjorn and Priya are very welcoming and make you feel at ease straight away.
Bjorn’s knowledge linked to neurodiverse is truly inspirational and is clearly portrayed through the work that he does.
He made my son feel at home straight away and built a rapport with him instantly. Their manner is calm and the information you receive for next steps are a great starting point if you are looking for quick ideas to start helping your child in the right direction with their learning.
During the assessment process - the fear of it being a “test” is taken away instantly and it becomes a conversation between him and your child. A lovely approach to see and one that has many benefits. Thank you
