Priced like Maje, Quality of Bershka
I bought couple of things of a total cost of 800 USD about 10 days ago. After the first wear of Tropeze dress; the button fell off and was lost. there was no additional button attached to the dress. As I do not live in the US, I asked the customer service to ship the button to my friends apartment in New York; they told me they could not. The dress costs 180 USD; and can't be reworn. The customer service is useless and did not offer any type of solution. I love how reformation claims to be sustainable, but does not provide extra buttons....

I recently bought the allure dress for Easter. The fit is nice and it’s a very cute dress, but the price and quality really don’t match up. As someone who is in fashion school I know what it costs to make things and these dresses are lower quality than Zara as of late. I would feel great about my purchase if the dress was priced at $75 but over $200 for H&M quality is just rude.

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to Ref! You’ve reached us outside of our business hours of 7am PT - 7pm PT, Monday through Friday. We’ve received your message and will get back to you as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you're looking for info regarding returns, order tracking, shipping policies, etc. check out our FAQ.”
Entiendo la diferencia horaria pero ya van 4 mails en diferentes horarios y aún no sé dónde está mi pedido, según su web ni siquiera ha salido de sus almacenes . Una verdadera vergüenza
I received my linen dress
I received my linen dress, it's beautiful! I’ll be wearing it to a wedding this summer. The customer service was very responsive because my package was stuck at the airport (Roissy, France), and it arrived the next day. I'm thrilled, thank you!
Bad bad quality
Bad bad quality. Worst materials. Plastic made clothes should cost close to 0. Some products look nice and feminine, most of them are are presented as for cheap women. Their models look like they are asking for ...... not presenting the clothes in a professional way.
Poor quality, high prices
Nice designs but I can’t believe they are selling that quality items for such a high price!
I had to return two orders (returns and refund was quite straight forward to be fair). The silk dress that costed £350 wasn’t made of silk and had no lining and the overall price for it would be £30 no more. I was desperate looking for a wedding guest dress but won’t order anything from them again.
Wonderful experience
I had a wonderful experience getting my wedding (non-wedding) dress at Reformation!
I ordered a Winslow dress for my own wedding, as I always wanted a non traditional wedding dress. I am also currently over 5 months pregnant and during my wedding I will be over 7 months pregnant. Therefore, I was a little worried about the sizing.
However, the dress looks wonderful on my changing body and the sizing guide + information about the exact size of the dress in cm helped me prior to ordering. I will have to either close up the top part or use a nice low top under the dress, but that I have expected and it is also mentioned as a solution for some buyers. Pregnancy does do funny things to your upper body as well. ;)
The dress is indeed made from a rougher/dryer feeling viscose, but it is also mentioned on the website and yet feels great on the body.
PLUS - customer service was fast and wonderful when I contacted them regarding the message from FedEx and customs issue. The issue was resolved very quickly and had no impact on the delivery time. Delivery time from California to the Netherlandas was unbelievable - ordered Friday and received it on Tuesday morning.
I ordered a Jaclyn satin top Black size…
I ordered a Jaclyn satin top Black size 6 from reformation. I understand this is final sale and no return policy but the size they make is wrong size like size 2 or 4. I contacted customer service and they said i can only exchange it but when I clicked on exchange. It said item not available. I contacted them back and they said “sorry. They cant do anything about it”. They do not honor final sale even if they made the wrong size. Worst customer service ever….
AVOID - they do not honour their sale prices
I pre-ordered an item in the Black Friday sale (-£50 discount) which were due to arrive early February.
After not receiving the item for ages, I recently received an email from them saying my item can't be delivered, with a very vague reason. They have refunded me and offered a pathetic 10% for me to re-buy the item, however that in no way compares to the original discount I had - when I asked about this, they essentially said 'sorry, the sale has ended so we won't honour the sale price'.
Absolutely APPALLING behaviour and customer service from this brand.
Not quite the norm in the UK 🇬🇧
Incorrect delivery information. Placed an order hoping I’d get it in the UK within 2 days. As the dresses are for a function I called the Notting Hill Branch in the UK and was advised by their store manager it actually takes 2 to 3 days. She informed me it’s out of their control and to inform hire up without saying how that could be done?? So leaving a review so one can be aware clothes are actually shipped from the USA and not stocked in the UK.
Took time to read up about Reformation as I am a Personal Stylist…. Concerned about racism experienced by staff and models. I would hope this is not the case anymore… as I wouldn’t like to shop from such a store that didn’t treat all equally.
One positive thing to say is your policy on sustainability. Great job!
I hope I get my dresses soon! I also hope if I do need to return them I do get a full refund. Other reviews here claim delays over 3 weeks or no refund an instead a credit note??

I am extremely surprised seeing such a low raiting for this brand. I have been ordering mainly dresses within the last couple of years and they fit me perfectly and I get a lot of compliments and feeling very confident wearing those, I realy love how it makes my body look even more feminine. I normally order the items when they are on sale, then it is quite affordable (otherwise the prices seem to me too high). Also I'm ordering from EU thus in case the item is even on final sale it can still be returned if you reach the customer service ASAP (don't really remember how many days you have after the delivery, I think it is around 10 days, but I usually decide within 1 day).
I ordered a dress that I needed for…
I ordered a dress that I needed for being a maid of honor. Upon receiving and pulling out of the packing the dress had multiple stains and snags from the top to the bottom of the dress. Hinting at that it had been pre-worn and used. I contacted customer service through email. They responded with the offer of refunding 10% due to the fact that I couldn’t return bc I need it for a event. They did offer a full refund upon return but again I needed the dress for an event that was requested by the bride. I cannot wrap my head around a company sending clearly damaged “high end, high price” items and then only offering a 10% refund. It goes back to the principal of letting a customer purchase an item that should of arrived in perfect condition and and their negligence has now become my issue. The 10% off won’t even cover the attempt to get it dry cleaned. If you are going to have high priced items have high quality customer service. Not to mention that you can’t even talk to someone on the phone to talk through these issues.
I never leave a review but this…
I never leave a review but this deserves one. I've been waiting for 3 weeks to get my order delivered.
The customer service has been completely unhelpful and my order of € 1500 is still not delivered.
This is very unexpected for a brand that I thought cared about its customers.
REFORMATION NEEDS REFORMED.
If I could provide fewer than a star, I would. The item I ordered was never delivered and they refused to give me a refund or replacement. Their Customer Service is terrible. Order at your own risk. Once they've got your money for the order, You're on your own. Caveat Emptor.!
Not sustainable. Shocking customer service and quality.
For a company that prides/markets themselves for being sustainable, they should make clothes that at least last to wear once!! I was so disappointed with reformation, both their customer service and the quality of their clothes. I ordered an item which came damaged, and then became more damaged before even being worn. The customer service was very unhelpful.
They have a very bad exchange policy
They have a very bad exchange policy. Plus they don’t deal with the customer since they are hidden behind text messages instead of answering calls. I was expecting much more from the brand. I’d never buy from them again
LOVE Ref
I am so surprised by all the bad reviews for Reformation. I have ordered about 10 pieces from Reformation throughout the past year and each time, I have been so happy with my purchase. Also, every time I have had an issue, their customer service has been very responsive and they have been quick to issue refunds when they were due.
I recommend ordering from Ref during their bi-annual sales. They do have many sales throughout the year but the BEST prices are in January and I think another time in the summer. A lot of the gorgeous pieces were up to 70% off.
Do Not Order From Reformation
2 times I received stained or damaged items, apparently me receiving these and complaining about them is against their policy. This was in 2022/2023. Fast forward to June 2024, I received a wrong item due to DHL and apparently DHL messing up packages is on me and they have blocked my account and information from every ordering from there again. Reading the rest of these reviews I'm glad I'm not the only one dealing with the terrible customer service & quality. I have explained multiple times what has happened and I keep receiving the same bot answers. Do not order from here unless you want a hassle.
