Overpriced and Misleading – Proceed with Caution
My experience with RestaurantZone initially began positively. Matthew and his team were personable, responsive, and enthusiastic during our initial interactions. Their explanations about their recruiting process and approach gave me confidence that we were making a good investment.
However, things quickly went downhill. Initially, we were charged a $2,500 setup fee, clearly stated to cover services for two years. Despite this explicit agreement, we were unexpectedly billed another $2,500 renewal fee after just one year, contrary to our original terms. Moreover, we were additionally charged $1,187.50 for recruitment hours we never authorized or utilized, especially since we had explicitly communicated our decision not to continue with their services after an unsatisfactory placement of Darren, who resigned shortly after being hired.
Communication to resolve these unauthorized charges has been frustrating and unproductive, marked by inconsistent explanations and slow responses. For a premium-priced service, the value and professionalism we expected simply were not there.
Given this experience, I strongly advise potential clients to stay away and carefully consider alternative recruiting options. This service is not worth the premium price or the hassle involved.

Bad experience with Wendy…
I had a very bad experience with Wendy today. I was invited for a telephonic interview. It clearly stated on my resume I am NOT a US Citizen yet I was "the perfect candidate". This got my hopes up as all I am looking for is an opportunity to return to the US. She was awfully rude on the phone when I called her after she said she can't call internationally. I was still busy asking a question whether she can recommend or assist companies that can assist with sponsorship (even offered to pay for myself) and she just put the phone down - cheers!. Clearly she did not read my resume. Train your people better please and train them to be compassionate on polite on the phone. There are so many ways to explain it better. In less than 1 minute the conversation was over - blaming politics. Seriously??
