Rebecca Piggott is brilliant

well what can i say apart from absolutly amazing service from Rebecca Piggott.
I work on various luxury high end projects that require some tricky specs for underfloor heating.
I reached out to Rebecca to see what was needed and how i could create such a large room combining two seperate heating systems to work Separately within the bathroom and powder room.
I had no idea but after a couple of emails and working drawings submitted, Boom it was on my email within minutes.
Rebecca is brilliant and very knowledgeable with her products.
Rebecca is now my only point of contact for future projects and will only speak with her.

Great customer service

I had a thermosphere boiler installed and had a few teething problems with knowing how to program it/efficiency. I contacted thermosphere and they promptly sent someone to look over the boiler to check installation and see if he could get it running as efficiently as possible. Darby took time to explain the system to me and gave me multiple tweaks to ensure the system ran as intended.

Fantastic customer Service

Alaska returned my call quickly, very patiently went through every step to programe all 7 days with the same steps on my Touch Programmable Thermostat. Very clear, Alaska had a unit with her as she went through the process.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Thermosphere products were selected by my underfloor heating installer with no input from me. they are supposed to be Wifi controllable but in fact they can only be turned up and down via app remotely and they cannot be reprogrammed to a schedule. They come with an arbitrary default schedule which can supposedly be changed on the thermostat itself through a fiddly process but even that doesn't work. I am therefore unable to schedule to take advantage of lower cost electricity tariffs. Five 'smart' thermostats were bought and installed in 2021 but very quickly were left unsupported (thermostats and app) as the company released new products. The company say that I should buy new thermostats to replace them. It beggars belief that they think it acceptable to supply equipment with only short term support and no backwards compatibility in their new app. Surely, heating systems should offer decades of support, not 3 years. Do not buy from Thermosphere if you have long term expectations of a working product and support.

The products purchased in 2021 were end of the line, as a new range and app were being released, the purchaser should have been aware of this at the time. As discussed, our thermostats are covered by a 3-year warranty and as such your thermostats fall out of the cover window. The next step would be to replace the faulty thermostat with a new electric underfloor heating thermostat, which uses an NTC10K floor sensor.

We do recognise we've caused you inconvenience with this old thermostat, so if we supplied our new T-MO thermostat to you at a reduced rate, would you be open to installing these?

Had our thermosphere thermostat now for…

Had our thermosphere thermostat now for more than a year. First one installed broke after 6 months. Replaced quickly but new one just is hopeless as initiates a boiler turn on randomly in the middle if the night when the house is empty and without a timed turn on
Most of our gas use at present is due to erroneous firings initiated by the thermostat as above. Is anyone else having these issues? Have reset the device numerous times- which works for a few days then it’s back to random turns ons for our GCH
It’s costing us a fortune!

On 2 occasions I have had amazing assistance

On 2 occasions I have had amazing customer service. I had two underfloor heating systems in my bathrooms. It was easy to contact the company directly for support and speak inperson to employees that have the knowledge and patience to deal with my query. My first contact to customer service was two years ago when the BT21 underfloor system was installed and I required help setting up the timer. The lady in question at the time help me download the app and talk me through setting the day and times (which wasn’t to difficult). My second was recently, to Jodie in technical support. In one of the bathrooms the heating system was working but the display screen wasn’t. After a chat with the Jodie she confirm the the screen had malfunction and would send out a replacement. To my amazement it arrived the next day with a bar of chocolate 😋. Great company, products and outstanding aftercare. Thank you Jodie the chocolate bar was devoured in seconds😀👍

Excellent Customer Service

Originally purchased some of their oil filled radiators from a supplier. We had some issues setting up the thermostats on all of them as the instructions were not very detailed.

I spoke to Sharnah who was so helpful in helping me set up the stats, she even sent me a detailed video on how to do it.

After getting this sorted, the rads were coming on at random times of the day and none of us could seem to work out how to stop this. Sharnah spent days speaking with the technical team, video called me and we tried everything to sort it.

Sharnah arranged for 4 replacements to be sent out to me which happened before Christmas. She even came in on her day off to make sure the ones they were sending o it were already programmed! Considering this was the week before Xmas we was so grateful that Sharnah managed to pull this off for us so our home would have heat for Christmas.

The product itself, I must say is confusing to set up the thermostat, only due to the instructions, however, the heaters are unreal and I would recommend to anyone.

Despite the confusing instructions, what I will say is that Thermospheres customer service is second to none.
