Good communication, there was a thorough explanation of the shoes, they asked permission to remove the wrapping paper so that I could see the quality of the shoes and material prior to completing my purchase. I appreciated the 2 delivery options as well, it was my first time using a personal shopper and it was a really good experience.

Unfortunately I found out that I had been charged a huge markup (over 130%) on the item I bought. I think this is taking advantage of people and it can’t be justified by the service provided. I understand the business model and needing to add a markup to make a profit but I don’t think that charging the end client double what The Sample Sales Team paid is fair. I’m also a bit concerned about what would happen in the event that there was an issue with the item I paid for as no receipts are provided. Had the markup not been so high, I wouldn’t be so disappointed, but I feel taken advantage of. There’s no transparency on pricing as there is like you have when using a personal shopper service for example where they tell you what the product price is and what it will cost you including their fees and postage etc - then you can work out whether it’s good value or not.
