What a terrible experience

What a terrible experience. Ordered my bag in October/2025, still don't have it even though the shipping label was created on December 15th. I was told the order was packed and ready to go but they have troubles and are working them out. Was told twice it would ship that week. Now I'm told they are holding new orders and I have to wait. How is my order NEW? Please save yourself and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

Sash bag experience

I have been a Sash bag customer for two years and have bought many bags. They are great for organization and hands free wear. The quality of the leather bags is great, the faux is hit or miss depending on the manufacturer (recently improved).
Some come right away and some take a while for special orders or kickstarter. Typically you know if you're ordering one like this that it will take a while. The community of people is also fantastic. Remember they are a small company and don't have the resources like a big company.

Now- they did recently file for chapter 11 bankruptcy (the reorganization one) after getting into a legal fight with a previous manufacturer for holding onto bags that were promised. This caused a lot of concerns due to the held up bags, and inability to refund orders all at once. But the company has been trying to keep their customers aware of what is going on and is giving people options to switch bags or get credits to alleviate a situation that is out of their control. They have already pivoted and are working with a better manufacturer who has already quickly delivered on new product launches.

Do not buy a bag from this company

Do not buy a bag from this company. You will wait months and sometimes years before you get it. I purchased 2 in early 2024 for just under $300 and when still not received by September 2025 I asked for a refund. Believe it or not it’s now November and they still have no idea when I might get it. They filed for bankruptcy and say they can only refund based on amount of sales they have. I may never get my money back at this rate. This company is unreliable and the bags themselves are not that great quality when you consider the price.

Avoid Sash Bag- Terrible service, no refund, no delivery

I am writing this review to share my extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience with Sash Bag. Despite my persistent efforts, I have been unable to resolve significant issues with my orders, leading me to dispute charges with Affirm.

Here's a breakdown of the problems I encountered:

Unfulfilled Orders & Lack of Resolution: My orders were never fulfilled, and Sash Bag consistently refused to provide a clear resolution regarding specific shipping dates or refund confirmations.

Constant Delays & Evasions: My direct requests were repeatedly met with:

1) Demands to simply "wait."

2) Suggestions to choose different items than what I originally ordered.

3) A requirement to wait over one month to receive a full refund for unfulfilled orders.

4) Irrelevant Excuses & Misinformation: I received a communication (see attachment if applicable) stating, "We sent out a detailed explanation of what's happening with shipping for our Canadian customers." This was completely irrelevant and unacceptable, as I am a USA customer, not Canadian. This demonstrates a pattern of providing misleading or inapplicable excuses to avoid resolution.

5) Exhausted Patience & Resources: I have spent considerable time and effort attempting to resolve these issues directly with Sash Bag, exhausting my patience and resources in the process.

6) Forced to Dispute Charges: Due to Sash Bag's refusal to provide a timely and appropriate resolution, I was left with no option but to dispute the charges with Affirm.

This entire experience has been highly unacceptable, and I strongly advise potential customers to be aware of these issues before purchasing from Sash Bag.
