In mid-July, my brother and I vacationed in Scotland for a week. During our first weekend, which was in Edinburgh, we visited the Edinburgh Clothing Company. We had already been hunting for souvenirs and asked around for a location to buy a kilt, which my brother had wanted for some time. As luck would have it, we stumbled upon the Scotland Clothing Company shop on South Bridge after coming from the National Museum. The gentleman in the turban provided us with incredible service and made our visit memorable. He helped my brother find the right size, suitable accessories, the bunch. The shop had a 20% discount in place in preparation for the festivities, and we left with many more items than we had planned for. That evening, my brother regretted not buying the matching belt, so we went back the following day. We were immediately recognized and got the same care and attention as before. Overall, an amazing experience, part of our amazing Scotland trip.
The quality of the kilts is great as well. They are synthetic kilts, not real wool, but this is to be expected at this price point, as real wool kilts are much more expensive. Given what the product is, it's high quality, and we expect it to last for several years.

I recently toured Scotland with my German friend's and whilst visiting Edinburgh came across The Scotland Kilt Company. We each purchased items of great quality and were greeted with a professional, friendly service. There was no pushing of products, we just browsed at our leisure, knowing staff were on-hand.
Our thanks go to Sonny who was a pleasure to do business with. Nothing was too much trouble and he kindly showed his appreciation of our sales with a small gift from himself, which was greatly received. Thank you.

I was in need of a replacement jacket and waistcoat this company offered the best price and with speedy delivery having tried them on I am delighted with my purchase, will use them for anything else I need.

Ordered the kilt package and was very impressed with the quality and contents albeit it was too big ( would recommend getting correct measurements) I was annoyed I didn’t get to wear it. Feel they could charge more and still be happy with the product

Everything was perfect. Came over from the USA for my daughters wedding and hired a kilt from SKC. Fits were great and it was ready and waiting. Actually there were 2..I had accidentally ordered 2. It was my fault, but they gave me half credit for the second (unused) one. They really didn't have to do that. Use these people..it was seamless.

Great products for the price, and fantastic customer service. I managed to get a tartan changed on a an order and then had to get a smaller size, and this was done very efficiently with great customer service.

I received a kilt from this establishment, which was of excellent quality for a great price! The staff there, especially Sandy, were all fantastic and knowledgeable at their jobs - answering the many queries I had about certain tartans and kilt types.

I cant recommend the service I have received enough. I have used the company a couple of times however my latest purchase is the best service ive had. Sonny really went above and beyond to ensure the service was the highest of high standards. Unfortunately a coat I had ordered had been over subscribed. Sonny was quick to call me to inform me of the unfortunate situation and was quick to offer a solution in the end I opted for a refund which Sonny kept me upto date with progress. During a conversation I asked Sonny if by chance a return item came in could he let me know. Luckily for me one did come in. Sonny was very quick to get in touch to let me know. I accepted the order however was unable to make payment via link sent. Sonny again offered and made available an over the phone payment and shipped order to me arriving very quickly. I can not thank him enough one happy customer.

Came here to buy a kilt for my wedding, The service was excellent, really would go higher than 5 stars if i could. The guys in the store really took the time the listen and answer all our questions and sent us away with smiles on our faces. I can't recommend these guys enough!

Great customer service via email when trying to order a Fly Plaid to be made in a tartan that wasn't on the option list.

SKC have supplied / made five kilts for me to date and all have been excellent and delivered within the advised delivery date.

I have made several purchases with The Scotland kilt company.also exchanged a jacket, as an Highlander I appreciate quality at A reasonable price. All of the products have been faultless, also receiving discount using the kilt token loyalty scheme.This was all without any cause for concern. I have also called for advice, Cynthia has to be commended for her high levels of advice, honesty and prompt service. I am awaiting delivery of my made to measure 8 yard kilt with pleats to stripe effect. I am looking forward to receiving it, I need only wait a further couple of weeks for delivery.

I bought a gorgeous Harris Tweed Royal Stewart Jacket. Great quality and fits true to size. I’ve been complimented when I wear it too. I had to send one back as I ordered an 8 by mistake, the Scottish lady from the Edinburgh shop was great over the phone, it makes a difference that you can actually speak to someone from the shop that knows the products, no quibble. I am always dubious about ordering on line but can honestly say that you won’t have a problem as the product and the customer service is 10 out of 10.

It is such a huge pleasure doing business with this company. Nothing is too much trouble, for example I had wrongly ordered the wrong size kilt telling them I couldn’t get it past my thighs. Just send it back and we will send you the correct size. About a week later I was wearing my ne Scottish National kilt. Even though I’m English, I am proud to wear that kilt and very happy to continue ordering from a wonderful company. I hope they do well in the future.
