As an amateur cook, I bought a basic knife set. Their response to the order was very fast and in about two days I had the knives on my hands. The packaging was satisfactory and alla the items protected. All the knives came ready to use. Also the have a detailed video on their YouTube channel about sharpening and caring your knives. I recommend them for any line who likes cooking amateur or professional.

I purchased the Ishizuchi Kurouchi Aogami santoku knife along with a honing rod from TheSharpCook.com, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Great site with tons of product info, categorization, filtering. Instant response to a mail I sent asking for recomendations. Human and not automated response. Great and safe packaging. I was attracted by their great website and excellent search and filter options. This helped me very much with the selection of the knife I purchased (Masutani Gyuto Damascus 185mm). Got in touch with them before my order, got a super quick reply helping me with my order and some extra service on top which I didn’t expect. They are friendly and have a great selection. Sure delivery takes a little while from Greece, so plan ahead, but it was worth the while waiting!

Ordered a Yoshikane SKD Gyuto and could pick from several available knifes. Very nice knife! Responds quickly on questions, product was packaged very well and was shipped fast.

J’ai été immédiatement happé par la passion qui se dégage de leur site web.

Une collaboration exclusive avec des forgerons japonais, présentés individuellement, des couteaux exclusifs mais à des prix raisonnables voire compétitifs avec ce que l’on peut trouver en France pour des couteaux industriels, des pages de conseils précieux, j’étais arrivé dans une salle de trésors !

Étant toujours un peu précautionneux pour les achats internationaux sur internet, j’ai quand même décidé de me lancer.

Je n’ai pas été déçu, la bonne expérience n’a fait que continuer ! Prise en charge immédiate de ma commande, remise de 10% à la première commande réintégrée suite à un simple mail après un bête oubli de ma part, livraison en moins d’une semaine avec un emballage parfait en tube carton.

After searching for a long time on the internet for a store that would inspire me to buy my first real Japanese knife, the mysterious algorithms suggested The Sharp Cook to me.

I was immediately captivated by the passion that emanates from their website.

An exclusive collaboration with Japanese blacksmiths, presented individually, exclusive knives but at reasonable prices, even competitive with what can be found in France for industrial knives, pages of valuable advice, I arrived in a room of treasures!

Always being a little cautious about international purchases on the internet, I decided to give it a go anyway.

I was not disappointed, the good experience only continued! Immediate handling of my order, 10% discount on the first order reinstated following a simple email after a stupid oversight on my part, delivery in less than a week with perfect packaging in a cardboard tube.

The Nakiri from the blacksmith Ishizuchi arrived in a pretty box, blade sharpened to a razor edge and oiled, magnificent object and wonderful tool.
