Undisclosed Duties & Taxes, Seller Unresponsive
After I placed the order I received the tracking information, followed by emails from the shipping company asking me to pay the duties and taxes. No where in the order process did it say I had to pay those fees. I rescheduled out to the seller but the email bounced back. As such, I did not pay the duties and taxes and never received the order, nor have I heard back from the seller.
The snugbook was damaged
The snugbook was damaged I have tried to contact twice yo resolve and no reply. Very disappointing!
Not sure why the shipping takes a full month?
Ordered the medium book pouch on Nov 8th. Got an email on Nov 24th saying it's out for delivery. I understand I live in BC, Canada, so I expect it to take some time, but as I write this review on Dec 8th, a full month since ordered, I have yet to see hide nor hair of any snugbook. I am hoping it comes in as I would love to try it out.
It took SO LONG to receive my item
It took SO LONG to receive my item, but when it did arrive it is great. My only complaint is that it took so long, and I had no reply from customer service about it when I tried to contact them.

Products are excellent, but communication really needs improving
I previously purchased from Snugbook in 2022, but had issues with a lack of response to emails and social media contacts. I ultimately got my product, which I was very happy with - and still use today.
I ordered and paid for another product more than a week ago, but I've tried to contact the seller for an update with no luck. I have tried by email (bounced back), by using the contact form on their website, messages on Facebook and Instagram, and I have even signed up for a free trial of LinkedIn Premium to contact the seller directly. I have also messaged publicly on social media, and have tried to find alternative contact details by searching the domains database.
I'm so disappointed - and it pains me to write this review - because the products are great and I really want to support small businesses. Had I seen the recent TrustPilot reviews I probably wouldn't have.
Really, lovely stylish quality product received.
Although it took a while for my order of a snugbook to be received, I was then, however, much impressed with the quality and style of the product and how lovely it was, once it did arrive. As my order had been delayed, the Snugbook owner had also then kindly included a free gift with my order, which was just as lovely and would like to say 'thanks' and am grateful for this. Apparently, it is now understood, having spoken to the Snugbook owner, that the company has been experiencing an IT glitch, which was preventing my emails getting through to them, when enquiring of shipment status etc, which had initially caused confusion. Now that my snugbook has however arrived, I am more than pleased with it and wish the owner 'Taz' success in the development of her business going forward.

I wish I had read all the reviews before placing my order with Snugbook. I ordered a pouch on 4/5/25 and received a dispatch email—but with no tracking information. Since then, I have not received my item. What’s even more frustrating is the complete lack of customer service. I have emailed four times to chase up my order and have been completely ignored each time. It feels as though this company is taking customers’ money without delivering the products.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid Snugbook. I’m extremely disappointed and hope this review helps others make an informed decision.
Edit- I received my item about a month after placing the order. The package also included a free gift. The owner reached out to let me know that my previous emails had been going to their spam folder. I am very happy with the product. Thank you
Lovely product
My daughter loved her Snugbook Airmail envelope- fits her e-reader well and was also delighted with the added extra from Customer Service who went out of their way to expedite the order as there had been a delay in despatch and I was concerned about this, they stepped up and the gorgeous Snugbook covers arrived safely.
Wouldn’t recommend
Despite the money leaving my account, and making numerous attempts to contact the company, I only received responses a month after my initial purchase once I’d made a formal complaint by email, contacted my bank to arrange a return of the funds and submitted a complaint to Trading Standards.
Abysmal; Ignorant company with no customer service
Abysmal. Exactly as others said; took the money then never recieved the product. Zero customer service, won't reply to any emails sent - an absolutely ignorant company. I've never experienced anything like this when buying a product anywhere else. Ended up having to get Not On The High Street To issue my refund as it was like trying to get blood out of a stone with Snugbook.
I genuinely would just completely avoid them and go elsewhere. Absolute embarrassment of a company.

Excellent product, slow shipping
The product is excellent. The shipping is slow. I read other reviews who mentioned this so I was aware and did not mind the delay. I still give a high score here because I am very satisfied with my purchase now that it has arrived and every other aspect of the transaction (e-mail updates and tracking info, customer service etc) was superb. Just be aware of the potential for a 2 week delivery window instead of 1 week.
Money taken but product never arrived
I ordered a birthday gift from my brother, despite the money being taken from my account, it never arrived. No delivery tracking information worked, I emailed the company, was told they didn't know what had happened but a replacement would be sent by express delivery. Still hasn't arrived and since this point despite emailing and using their chat function I have had no further response or update.

TLDR: No order fulfilment, ignoring customer contact across all channels of communication. Reading the reviews here, it looks like this is a common issue.
I bought a £40 bundle of books online via their website, which included Royal Mail 1st class delivery. After 1.5 weeks I reached out to find out what’s happening with my order. I contacted them on email, phone, social media DMs and got no response. I waited another 1.5 weeks and then tried calling again and couldn’t reach them. I started posting comments on their social media posts: “I am trying reach you about an order, please contact me”. The owner Sam Carr would delete my posts as soon as I submitted them. Only after persisting with commenting across Tik Tok, Facebook etc, Sam emailed me back claiming that they had received stock earlier in the week and were working through it. I was happy at the time and was supportive. I contacted them again a week later asking for an ETA and I got no response. I waited two weeks from there and still no order and no response. I sent a final email saying that I have no other option but to contact trading standards. It has now been a month and a half since I paid for my order so they were happy to open a case. My bank is also now investigating.
