Hi, I just thought I would like to mention my recent experience with the Solar Centre.
My wife bought lights for the garden but after a few months we had problems with the lights turning on at dusk. The customer service at the Solar Centre could not have been better. Our problem was resolved with the help of Nicole and I consider her a valuable asset to the company. Many, many thanks.

Bought some solar lights and everything came quick! However I had an issue with 1 faulty light which got resolved instantly via Ella in customer services. Thank you for everything and I will be buying more again very soon.

I've bought several items from this company before and they've been great - one item recently became faulty after a few months' use and I contacted Solar Centre explaining the issue. I had a reply the following day and after sending a few photos, an immediate replacement is being sent out to me. Am delighted. I can't fault their customer service, I'll be back! No hesitation in using The SolarCentre for all my solar lighting projects. Nicole was so helpful to resolve a minor issue with one of my sets. Reassuring to find a company with such high quality customer standards.

Brought some lovely zesty lights for my pergola a couple of months ago and one set just stopped working. I spoke to Ella and she very kindly ordered another set for us. Very impressed with Solar centre. They have honoured their guarantee promise. Would definitely recommend this company.

Enquired about getting replacement parts for old slot lights and received a prompt response on a Sunday providing a link to the available parts! Ordered and received parts in a day. Amazing that a company has spares! Excellent customer service and swift delivery. Highly recommend this company!!

I purchased the edinburgh 20 bulb festoon solar lights for my garden and they look great. You can tell straight away that they are better quality than the ones sold in budget chain stores although they are understandably more expensive which is to be expected. Unfortunately one of the the bulbs failed after a few weeks but a quick email to customer services and Ella promptly arranged for a replacement bulb to be delivered to me without hesitation which was excellent customer after care. I would certainly use SolarCentre again.

Extremely disappointing to say the least !

I have spent a lot money with this company in my previous house and now my new address .

Place orders quite a lot money I spent .

Some lights didn’t work , so I informed them and they sent replacements ( bearing in mind I had to chase up where my replacements were). Much to Solar Centres joy !

The replacements arrived and when fitting the brackets to the fence found out one off the brackets they sent with this product wasn’t the correct one !

Had to contact them about this also & send proof . Which then left a different hole in my brand new fence ! Solar Centre weren’t too bothered about this !


The so called replacement order they sent now doesn’t work after an extremely short period of time !! I showed them proof of the defects via pictures and they told me that they had to be sent back and they would decide if faulty or not !!

Well believe it or not I myself can work out if they aren't fit for purpose or not !!

So my fence is now left without some lights because of this and I am chasing this up and awaiting an outcome before escalating this to my payment provider and if need be small claim court !

When I had highlighted numerous times the amount problems since placing my orders I was then told they didn’t like my tone in the emails “.

I wouldn’t recommend this company this anyone now and feel they have went extremely downhill with there products and customer service.

Once they have your money they really don’t care . Items aren’t fit for purpose let alone one year warranty!!

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015- Goods must be fit for purpose.

Tracking shows Solar Centre have received the faulty and unfit for purposes goods back on 06.08.27. Awaiting my replacement that actually work to be sent out to me !

I have used the solar centre for several years now and the products are great. We have a very large garden and over time have built up a lovely lighting system that is almost 100% solar. The customer service is always top level. I have spoken with Nicole in the last week and she has sorted a small problem for me even though out of the warranty.

We have a set of Woodland Mushroom lights which lost two heads in recent high winds. I contacted Solar Centre to see if they were able to supply spares, and Ella sent us some immediately. Thank you so much, Ella. Excellent service.
Solar Centre has a great range of solar lights of good variety and quality, with very competitive prices. Thank you and keep up the good work!

My order was attended to promptly and was delivered within two days. After a couple of weeks I thought that I had a problem and emailed the company only to receive the customary 'we are busy right now, will be back within 1-3 days, maybe more'. In the event I received a very pleasant, helpful and supportive email from Ella within hours, that resolved 'the problem', there wasn't one! I would certainly use the company again, excellent service and good supportive customer care. A company to be proud of.

I've bought solar lights from this company a couple of times now. If there is any kind of issue the customer service, especially Ella and Nicola, have been brilliant. Efficient and helpful, they have made dealing with a problem so easy to resolve. I would certainly highly recommend this small company to anyone.

Fantastic light selection and my fence lights look fab. Just a small issue with one of them that didn’t tighten properly but all solved via the online chat with Ella who was very helpful.

I have dealt with the Solar Centre over the past couple of years and have purchased several products. On the very rare occasion that a problem has arisen the customer service department have responded both very quickly and positively. I would say that the products may be a little more expensive than others generaly available but the range and quality are far better which is why I have been a returning customer. I have recently dealt with ELLA regarding a replacement component and the service was excellent. Anyone thinking of buying lightning for the home or garden should seriously consider the Solar Centre. Not only will you be supporting a small business but from my own experience you will not be disappointed
