While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more

The Spool List is a marketplace for custom fabrication. It connects people who need something made with independent makers who have the machines to make it. Buyers describe a part, prop, gift or product, upload a file or photo and set a budget. Posting a job is free, and buyers pay no platform fee on top of the maker's quote. Makers register each of their machines (any make or model), get matched to jobs they can actually build, and quote and chat with the buyer directly. Every order has platform payment protection: the maker is paid once the buyer confirms delivery, and there is a dispute process if something goes wrong. It isn't only 3D printing. There are markets for CNC machining, laser cutting and engraving, embroidery, woodworking, metal fabrication, leather, ceramics, glass, jewellery, art and sculpting, signage, spare parts, cosplay and miniatures. Makers can also sell ready-made pieces in the Forge, our shop section, and there are free calculators for makers on the website. The Spool List runs on iOS, Android and the web, in 17 languages. We're a small, founder-led team and we read every review. If something went wrong with an order, tell us here or at support@thespoollist.com and we'll put it right.
