Extremely disappointing experience.
Booked a taxi with Tesla Taxi Cumnock from Lochside Hotel & Spa, New Cumnock to the Royal Hotel, Cumnock (4.3 miles) at 10pm on Friday 3rd October. I was charged an unjustified £20 for a short 4-mile trip.
When I questioned the price, the driver claimed it was because he had to drive to collect me — an unacceptable excuse. No meter was shown, and the fare was clearly inflated.
To make matters worse, the driving was unsafe — speeding and following dangerously close to the car ahead.
I would strongly advise avoiding Tesla Taxi Cumnock. Very poor value, unsafe driving, and dishonest pricing.
Also disappointing that this company was recommended by the Royal Hotel Cumnock — not a great reflection on their standards either.

The prompt on trust pilot states “what made your experience great?” EVERYTHING is the answer, but it’s Alan that really made it special. My daughter who was travelling with me was as impressed as me. An amazing luxury taxi service using Tesla taxis! A great way to start and end our holiday. Luggage space for 3 x large suitcase and 3 x cabin case. Smoothe safe drive and experience to the airport. Great communication with reminder pick ups via email and WhatsApp with Alan, will recommend to anyone.

I found the Tesla Taxi Company's website and contacted Alan. He replied straightaway with a quote. It was worth every penny. Alan kept me informed of arrangements and pick up details throughout. He is a punctual, friendly, organised professional and drove us both ways effortlessly. I would definitely use this service again.
