Highly recommend

Went to my usual tyre place, been going there years. X3 lease cars sorted through them.
Called in this morning for a tyre check, likely x2 new ones plus alignment.
Was told they were in the middle of something, leave it with them !
Politely declined.
Went to Malvern Tyres on Winterstoke road.
Very professional, need x2.
Requested the replacements, swop the tyres around so all new at the front and wheel alignment.
Leave it with us, called back in an hour, all done for £250.
Brilliant job, great service from Dougie and others involved.
Will be returning here in future for both our cars.
Many thanks. 👍

I wish i can give zero star

I wish i can give zero star
I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at Malvern Tyres Poole.

I booked my car for tyre replacement and wheel alignment. The job should have taken around 20–30 minutes, but we were left standing outside the garage for nearly 2 hours. During this time, they put another customer’s car on the ramp before finishing my booked work.I understand iam third party customer from just tyre not direct-customer for them

When I asked how much longer it would take, two of the mechanics were rude and uncooperative. Instead of giving a clear explanation, they suggested I return the next day for the alignment. Their attitude felt disrespectful, as they were smiling and laughing with each other while I was asking about my vehicle.

To make matters worse, I was charged an extra £50 for something they claimed was necessary because they “could not open the tyre valve.” This was never clearly explained beforehand, and it felt like an unnecessary charge for no proper reason.

Overall, I left feeling dissatisfied, overcharged, and not confident in the quality of the work. The poor communication, lack of professionalism, long delays, and unexpected charges made this one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a tyre workshop.

I hope management investigates this seriously and improves their customer service standards.

They deliberately damaged my car by…

They deliberately damaged my car by cutting the CV boot when replacing my tyres.

My mechanic friend was underneath my car 2 days prior to my visit to Malvern Tyres. He reported no issues with the CV Boot or any evidence of grease being thrown into the wheel arch.

When I arrived at Malvern Tryes to get 2 new front tyres the mechanic claimed the CV Boot had split and told me grease had been thrown into the wheel arch. I told him a friend of mine who is a mechanic does those types of repairs. My friend replaced the CV Boot today and told me he was 100% certain that they'd made a cut in the CV Boot. He showed me the part...there was quite clearly a small incision made in it. It wasn't torn or split...it had been cut with a sharp blade.

I will never go to Malvern Tyres ever again. Absolute rip off, con merchants.

If you want your car to be willfully damaged to make them more money to fix the damage they deliberately caused then go ahead and use them. If not....avoid like the Plague.

Do not recommend

After visiting the auto tyre & battery branch in droitwich had a repair done things went wrong after the initial repair and upon going back to them about the problem we was told it wasn't what they did even though our car had not had this particular problem before, the guy lee was not very forthcoming to take any responsibility after he had taken our money and was getting rather verbally annoyed with us so we took car else where and they said there was problems due to the repair and we had to pay to have it put right I will not be going back again unless they have a new manager who knows how to deal with customers better

Loyal Customers mean nothing!!

I have been a loyal customer of Discount tyres for many years for all my vehicles, I was having issues with a tyre where it would deflate over a week or two.

No puncture or leak could be found, so I replaced both front tyres despite still having 4/5mm tread.
I questioned the price and was told prices have rocketed due to oil prices, so I went ahead, £300 for two tyres.
To my horror, I checked with my local ATS only to find both tyres fitted would cost ££224.00 inclusive.
I could have got Michelin for less at ATS so I know where all my business will go in the future.
I don't give second chances. you took advantage and lost all my business going forward, and I certainly will not be recommending you again.
Very Disappointing. :-(

Really good service today

Really good service today, I pulled in with a flat tyre, I was served immediately, they repaired my tyre, checked my tyre pressure on all four, gave advice about my wheel nuts and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need, thanks

If you want to be ripped off, visit

Told would do me a deal. Two tyres costing £170 each would supply and fit for £150. Bargain. Turns out, the tyres that were actually fitted are £5 less each. Not going to break the bank but no longer a deal. Been overcharged. Ohh…. Also thanks for replacing my silver tyre caps with black ones. Just what I wanted, odd colour tyre caps. Horrendous attitude on the manager with a chip on his shoulder. Better tyre places around. Avoid !

Cheap isn’t always best

I went to Malvern tyres in Yate as they were cheaper than kwikfit. I am currently sat in kwikfit as the new tyre was flat. They were not fitted properly and there was a leak around the rim. In addition, the wheel wasn’t cleaned and was rusty. Kwikfit now doing it for me - additional cost obviously

Very impressed - Longwell Green

I urgently needed brake pads and all the big well known establishments couldn't offer me an appointment that suited my working hours.
The Longwell Green branch in Bristol were super helpful on the phone, they offered me an afternoon appointment after work and were able to order the parts and get them delivered the same day. I was really grateful for this as I am a key worker so it is not easy for me to take time off work.
The staff were really helpful and courteous and gave me good advice about my car.
I will definitely use them again instead of going to the obvious places.

Malvern tyres in Yate 5☆ plus

I needed a fix for my camper exhaust which was knocked if by something on the road. It had ripped it off the last hanger, and bent the pipe so needed a bit of work. After trying locally and messed around by one place, turned up at Malvern tyres in Yate, to be greeted with a smile,(that's a first) and an obvious willingness to try and help, there and then. So did a fix for one part of the issue , which included fitting a new hanger, (which he ordered and had sent in immediately) and heating and bending the exhaust back into shape. He said another hanger was needed but couldn't get that till following day. I went to pay todays bill, but he told me not to worry and would sort it all tomorrow. So, in short, great attitude, proper old fashioned service, and completely trusting. That makes Malvern in my eyes, the best tyre and exhaust place I've ever found and will tell everyone I know about it, as the places near me are a disgrace, and this is worth the 12mile trip.

Fitted incorrect size tyre to my…

Fitted incorrect size tyre to my mothers Tiguan, VW main dealer spotted at next service - Malvern Tyres (bulwark) monkeys don't have a clue or care for their work. Speedo out of accuracy and front vs rear wheels now rotating out of sync and causing fault codes. Muppets! avoid

I wouldn't even give them 1 star

I wouldn't even give them 1 star - they are liars and took advantage of a lone female. They tried to convince me that I needed a new alternator and had a leak in my water pipe, when I had only taken it in for a broken drive belt. I had another (trusted) mechanic look at it and he said that the alternator and water pipe were fine and it did just need the drive belt replaced. If I didn't have a friend who's a mechanic to look at it, I would've paid out the £480 they were asking to get all the extra work done. As it goes, I had to pay £80 just for the drive belt to be fitted - which is extortionate! This is the 2nd unreliable, untrustworthy garage that I've had the misfortune of using. Where are all the honest ones?!

Sharp practice

Car failed MOT last Thursday because of a damaged tyre.
All tyres on my car are Avon ZZ5 98Y XL
Checked thetyregroup's website - tyre in stock and can be delivered to my local fitter (who is not the MOT garage).
Went to my local fitter who is on thetyregroup list.
I have been his customer for the past 30 years.
He couldn't order because of some bureaucratic rigmarole.
He suggested I order and make appointment with the website.
Went home, ordered tyre, paid £134.44. Appointment with fitter made by website for Monday morning.
Phoned MOT garage and re-booked MOT for 2 pm Monday.

Monday morning went to a very sorry fitter who told me that Thetyregroup had arbitrarily substituted and sent a different tyre as apparently it's no longer stocked.
No time to order another tyre because of the MOT booking, and with the new MOT rules the car was supposed to be off the road.
So, I had fitted whatever Thetyregroup sent.

Thetyregroup accepted my order for a ZZ5 98Y XL had my money, my phone number and my email.
Would they have had the courtesy to contact me to ask if substitution was acceptable? Nope.
Not even an invoice to show what they had eventually sold me.
[6 days later their website still shows Avon ZZ5 98Y XL can be ordered].
Absolute disgrace.

I will never use again

Yesterday my Son asked me where he could get 2 new tyres and tracking done on his Focus ST in Newport South Wales, I automatically said Discount Tyres as that is where I would normally go, So off we went, when we got there we went in the office to find out the cost and we were told to go wait with the car and as soon as one of the fitters was available he would give us prices, When the fitter came over we told him we want 2 Goodyear tyres on the front and the tracking done we were told not sure they could do the tracking as the car may be to low to put on the ramp, so we said it's not worth putting the new tyres on if they could not do the tracking, We were then told to bring the car over and they will check. next thing we know he jacking up the car and taking wheels off he then changed the tyres and then when he finished he then told us he could definitely not do the tracking. we were then left with 2 new tyre on the car with the tracking out that had already worn the inside edge of the last 2 tyres, we then had to go round the road to another tyre company to get the tracking done, I feel that they did not care about the fact the tracking and that they could not adjust it they just wanted the sale of the 2 tyre also they balanced the 2 wheels they put the new tyres on but did a really bad job of it leaving the car with a wheel wobble that it did not have before they did it, I will Never go back there again Rip off merchants
