We’ve been working with Vignesh for a few months now, and the experience has been incredibly valuable. He’s helped us understand what we’re spending, how to budget, and how best to save. We now feel more organised, more confident, and more aligned as a team rather than one person taking the lead. Working with Vig has been a great experience and a much needed step towards removing little stresses from my life by giving me simple effective tools and tips to help me manage my finances more efficiently and effectively. It was amazing to connect with Vig from the comfort of our living room and take ownership of our finances. The prep work going into the session is extremely valuable as it already exposes the things we are doing well and what challenges we are facing. In true coaching style all of these points are then addressed thoroughly and mindfully, exploring new possibilities and highlighting a strategic path for the future. The session itself is very well structured leaving no stones unturned and we came out of our first coaching session very empowered and have already implemented the plan Vig put together for us. This experience with the UK money coach has been a really good journey. Our mindset towards money was not the best and as a couple it was something that we very rarely talked about and when we did it always lead to tears or an arguement. From the first consulatation call it felt like a weight was lifted of us, and the light at the end of the tunnel was visible. We signed up to the coaching programe and the learning has been mind blowing, we are a lot more confident about our views towards money and the idea of living our rich life does feel very achievable. People assume that having a money coach is due to being bad with money or not having enough of it, we found out that this is not the case it is just fine tuning and understanding how to make money work for you. With a young family and two busy jobs it was a stressful time and made me reflect on our life goals. Whilst I have been successful in my career, I did have that feeling of being stuck in the city 'rat race' and unable to see a future of slowing down, retiring early and getting the balance I need. Without a clear plan for my finances that did lead to unnecessary stress for me, a focus on planning month to month and unable to enjoy life in the way I wanted.

Vig helped me hugely with analysis of my costs and some principles about my investments. I had always assumed that I left it too late to start seriously investing but he showed me the impact it could have. We analysed my family monthly expenditure, splitting my investments into manageable monthly amounts (utilising the most appropriate methods) and considered what was needed in the future. Ultimately shifting my mindset to be more balanced on both today and tomorrow.

The sessions were hugely practical, jargon free and tailored to my needs. His manner was reassuring and showed empathy with how I was feeling.

I feel much more focused and less stressed which is helping me enjoy my family more. I appreciate his work with us and can see a much brighter future for my family. To keep me on track I still maintain contact with Vig to check back in and ensure he challenges me against the goals I set.

I met with Vig as I was feeling frustrated that though we were both on a good salary, I was still feeling anxious at the end of each month that I didn't have enough money to manage more than staying on top of the bills. Recently becoming parents and with the current financial climate this anxiety was really getting bad as I wasn't sure how we were going to manage providing a really good level of education and opportunities for our daughter and also leave her a decent inheritance and enjoy our retirement. This was compounded by the fact that we are older parents and so much closer to retirement. Working with Vig, initially completing his spreadsheet and then discussing our spend in lots of detail was useful as it was the first time we saw our finances laid out clearly so we could see where our money was going. The discussions about what spend could be reduced and finding out where we were missing out on 'easy money' were eye-opening, which along with potential changes in savings and repayments wil help us achieve our goals a little sooner.

It was useful talking to someone who didn't spout financial jargon but who also had some experience in doing this for themselves and succeeding. The time Vig put into going through our spreadsheet outside of the calls with us to be able to give us immediately actionable benefits was really appreciated and we've already seen that in our accounts (about £700) by following his advice!

Going through some major life events, coupled with the rising cost of living, had left me stressed and anxious about my family's short- and medium term-finances. Working with Vig was super helpful in putting in place some simple steps to better see where our money is going and where we can make improvements. It was really rewarding - and stress-relieving - to be able to take a number of immediate actions.
