I was given a Virgin Experience voucher in April 23 for my 70th birthday where I was to have an experience of sampling many different whiskies. I attempted to book an acceptable date and found that they only organise this type of sampling in London (not part of the travelling circus they organise around the UK, I live 100+ miles away. I asked when the next available date was as I would need to book travel and hotel accommodation. Unfortunately, they didn't have plans for one in the near future but might have one on July 1st 2023. I asked to be informed as soon as it was confirmed but tried to contact them throughout June with no success. July1st didn't happen.
I sent emails in July, but months later I received an email from Amanda stating that people must be patient as she suffered from Autism and there may be a delay in getting back to people. This delay is still in effect. I haven't received any communication from The Whisky Lounge since (other than random advertising emails).
To cut a long story a little bit short I exchanged my Virgin Voucher for another experience and I would most certainly not recommend The Whisky Lounge.

I placed my first order with Whisky Lounge after I read on Whisky Intelligence that The Whisky Lounge was selling a TWL/Mackmyra Oloroso Single Cask. I followed the link and purchased it for a very reasonable price. Very good and friendly communication, easy to use web site, delivered next day and very well wrapped. Will be keeping looking at their site now. With a Keeper of the Quaich and IWSC Spirit Panel Judge I know the whiskies will be very good, a good price and service. Would recommend The Whisky Lounge to everybody. Many thanks to Eddie for my order.
