Excellent setting friendly staff and the food was fast in a busy day, great value for money and of excellent quality. I attended in a wheelchair. The front inner door needs a call for help button. I was shown to a large table in the main room which had spectacular views and directly connected to the wheelchair accessible loo. Beer was served in clean fresh glassware and was refreshing and of excellent quality. Had a t bone steak, huge portion of black pudding and the steak needed planning permission. Friendly helpful staff.
You are in nomans land no WiFi for the guests and no phone coverage. This means your home security and other WiFi controlled items cannot contact you.
Slight error with meal ordered jacket potato was given chips. The chips were excellent and had just come back from Tenerife given their colour.
I would have given five stars but the lack of WiFi is unforgivable this day and age.
The car park has a strong slope which is difficult even for a powered chair like mine as it runs away with you at the roadside. A safety herb and levelling would solve this.(Near the road)
I hate eating out as it is stressful but this was a lovely venue complimented by excellent food beer and staff.
With the three suggested improvements this would be a five star strongly recommended venue.
Otherwise very highly recommended Will visit again in six months hoping the changes are implemented.
