Our adult son was dying from neck…
Our adult son was dying from neck cancer. Unfortunately he lived 200 miles away from where we live. Therefore it was a 400 mile round trip each of the six times we went to help and care for him. Money was tight. We are on a state pension. So the Thimbl card was used to the max because being with our first born took priority. Now, sadly, our son has passed so we turned our attention to settling all outstanding debts including the Thimbl credit card. However despite paying over half to Thimbl we are suspended from using this card. We have spoken to Vanquis Bank who own Thimbl, and explained the extenuating circumstances but there is no empathy, no lee-way and they will not lift the stop on the card. Vanquis Bank have really let us down. Now we will endeavour to pay this card off completely and NEVER turn to Thimbl or Vanquis ever again.
We certainly do not recommend this company to anyone. We hope that Karma does exist.
I UNDERSTAND THAT THIMBL IS EASY TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPTANCE. THATS FINE UNLESS YOU HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM-- THEN THEY LET YOU DOWN WITH A BUMP.

All seemed positive after Thimbl responded to my Trustpilot review. However we have waited to see if someone would put a name to Thimbls response but that hasn't happened. So, just now, my husband rang Thimbl who, to be totally honest, were not one bit interested or bothered by anything that I tried to say. My husband is a very patient and mild mannered gentleman but the person on the phone from Thimbl, decided to disconnect the call.
So, Thimbl, you have enough rope, and you are hanging yourself.....well done!
