Tweedledee cottage in the Peak District.

Tweedledee cottage is set in a quaint village, that surprisingly is very lively. The village of yulgreave is very centre for Matlock, Bakewell & Buxton being only a short distance to all 3. There are many walks straight from the property and around the three main towns, making it ideal for walkers.
There is a very well stocked, very competitively priced local shop. 3 pubs, all doing food and 2 cafes doing food.
The property itself has parking across the road, making safe off road parking. Walking into the cottage and seeing the staircase was daunting. The stairs are part stone part wooden and at first looked scary, but after a few days we were used to them and they didnt present a problem.
The living room is comfortable and homely with a large tv and corner leather sofa, and I imagine are at their best on when the nights draws in. I can just imagine the twinkling candles and glowing log fire making it very welcoming.
The kitchen is very well-equipped for home cooking if you require ( we did ), a great cooker, microwave and good quality kitchen equipment. Washing up liquid, soap, dishwasher tablets, good quality foil and cling film. Plenty of tea towels and extra cloths. Under the stairs a washing machine, so no problem cleaning your clothes in winter months hiking.
The bedroom has the wow factor! A beautiful and very comfortable bed. With crisp white bedding and lovely pillows. It light and airy and welcoming. The twinkly light behind the canaopy make for a romantic evening.
The bathroom is beautiful with its free standing bath, under floor heating, heated towel rail and censored small lights for nighttime use. The shower is strong and the water is on demand so you never run out.

All in all, this is a fantastic cottage in a great location, we would definitely recommend and hope to visit again, maybe in the autumn.
