Thorzone Should Plead Bankruptcy

Cases frame came warped. The actual metal case probably doesn't fit anymore. The screws aren't great at all. The mesh ripped and the issue with the riser cable was so it's shredded to hell. I can't even put the metal shroud on it. This was one of the worst builds ever. The plug thing doesn't go in all of the way. The things to adjust the size of the graphics card was clearly an after thought. Even worse: the company won't help and has been historically known to not be helpful at all. DO NOT BUY THIS CASE! I have to keep it until I buy another different brand but go with a corpo one over this because this is, quite honestly, one of the worst cases you could ever build a computer on. I wanted to like the little guy but Thorzone made a terrible product. A 600 dollar case shouldn't have 50 dollar case problems. I can get the time and money back but my patience has been worn thin. It is literally a pure air exposed case because the metal shroud didn't go on right and the mesh doesn't stick at all. I had to use double sided tape and it didn't even fit so those came off anyways. I would not recommend this case solely due to the above problems and Thorzone's solution to them as well as the early customers who had similar issues to my own. I own the case but I don't have the receipt so I'm out of luck but it doesn't matter. I can live losing 600, I hope customers see this and avoid ever looking at your cases. The website UI is also terrible. Go ahead and see it, it'll grab your cursor. Do not buy this case. This company will not help you and this case was garbage.

I am very sorry to hear this. If anything came warped or damaged, we stand fully ready to send you new replacement parts. Have you sent an email to support? I can’t find any support emails under your first or last name, please send a new email just in case your first one ended up in a spam folder or similar. I hope we can solve your situation.

Well worth the wait!

Finally received and built in my Nano Q (v3) with all the addons. The wait was long with several delays since the original July delivery estimate, but now that I have it on my desk BOY WAS IT WORTH THE WAIT. It feels more like an art piece than a pc case. I know THOR is still a small company and I hope they figure out a way to avoid delays in the future, but I'm happy with my experience, especially compared to some boutique keebs group-buys I've been part of who've delay several years and not just mere months. Whenever I had questions Denise always provided me with detailed update, even thought they only answer emails on Mondays. Alex is pretty active in their discord though.

Will support them again once they launch their collab with Devyn.

Scam or F*ckup

Sorry, this is one big failure or scam. We ordered 31.7.2025 and still have nothing. Just some stupid excuses, when we ask, where is our order. It should be shipped in mid October (after there where no communication and we asked 25.9. where is the order), then 10th November, now we have another issue that affects 40% of the order and no surprise, our order is also one of them, and maybe another 2 weeks of delay. I am really pissed. No proactive communication from Thorzone, no informations. This is one big f*ckup or scam.

First off all, I totally understand the frustration and we are very sorry for the delay. All customers can reach out anytime via email, we provide you with as detailed update on the current progress as possible.

When dealing with products such as ours we have to be ready to deal with any issues that pop up in production, even if it causes delays (we do our best to explain exactly why there is a delay). Sometimes it requires us to remake a few parts, but it has to be done, as we can’t send out goods that don’t meet our standards.

Genuinely Awful Company to deal with

The product looks good, but past that point what a waste of life. Finish is mid, thought and process is ok. But dealing with customer support is possibly the worst thing I've ever had to deal with. 0 responses, false promises and excessive long delivery times? For the price you pay its actually a joke. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND SPENDING YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. THE WORST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. BOTH FROM FIRST SHIPMENT TO GETTING REPLACEMENT PARTS. Since first placing my order in beginning of October 2024, to receiving my order beginning of May 2025, 7 months. Had to then request replacement parts, ordered in beginning of May, we are now in September and still no sight of them. The company should not be allowed to operate, ignore any youtuber who says otherwise.

NANOQ R V2 Experience

I recently bought the NANOQ R v2. It arrived on time and was well-packaged, with no dents or scratches. The unboxing experience felt premium—almost like opening an Apple product, but for PC cases. Everything was neatly organized and well-placed.

Now, about the build itself. I paid €440 for the case with the accessories I wanted, and after shipping and taxes, the total came to €510. Like many small form factor builds, it was a challenging process. I used top-of-the-line components: a 9950X3D CPU, an RX 7900 XTX GPU, etc., as I intend to run at least three monitors.

Unfortunately, there's a major flaw: the metal support bracket that holds up the GPU partially blocks one of the DisplayPorts. While the port itself isn't fully covered, the blockage is just enough that you’d need to modify (cut) the DisplayPort cable housing to make it fit. In my case, the cable has a hard plastic shell, so modification isn't an option. Thankfully, I can still use HDMI for now, but this limits my future ability to add a fourth monitor—something that shouldn't be an issue with a premium case like this.

There were also some minor but frustrating inconveniences. The power button uses small washers, but there were no extras included in the box. Since washers are easy to lose during installation, it would’ve been thoughtful to include a few spares. I contacted the company to ask about the washer size and had to buy replacements myself—something that should be considered for future batches.

Another issue was the internal layout. I suggest adding slide-in rails to the case panels, as fitting parts together cleanly was sometimes tricky and misalignment caused unnecessary hassle.

Lastly, I mistakenly ordered a 240mm AIO instead of a 280mm. Unfortunately, the NANOQ R doesn’t have any mounting points for 240mm AIOs, which meant I had to resort to using large zip ties to secure it. This limits flexibility and feels like a missed opportunity in an otherwise premium case.

Overall, I think it’s a premium case with excellent potential, but it still needs a few design improvements to truly match its price tag.

Very high build quality. Their business model with a collection of orders before production starts makes the delivery times very long which is not optimal thou.

Outstanding Quality SFF PC Case

I've always loved SFF PCs. I started with Shuttle XPC cases over 20 years ago and stuck with them for many years. Moved onto Fractal Design and DAN PC and now I'm on my Thor Zone Mjolnir.

The Mjolnir is hands-down the best SFF PC case I've ever owned. I love its stylish understatement on my desk (I don't go for RGB LEDs), its removable panels make it easy to clean without having to take it apart and the all-metal build gives it an unmatched quality.

Did it take a long time to arrive? Yes, but that's to be expected when you pre-order.

Would I order from Thor Zone again? Absolutely, because I know they deliver a quality product, they're not evasive about their lead times, and they respond to customer emails promptly.

I feel like my Mjolnir case was totally worth the wait and the cost so I'm a happy customer!

Solid, and pretty, but QA and timing fumbles

(date reflected was the furthest back trustpilot would allow, but I was in the initial kickstarter wave)
The build quality is pretty solid, and the case is beautiful, but timing of the case when designed to when it was released as it related to the NVIDIA 3000 series coming out meant there weren't a lot of options to build into the case with the latest hardware at the time (and forget most current options, too). It was a bit out of their hands with pandemic delays around then, to a certain extent. Additionally, when I received it and unboxed it, it was pretty solid, but one of the magnets was not adhered properly and one of the plastic corners broke off. Neither were impactful to the overall use of the case, but it was disappointing - especially because when I reached out about the magnet, I was essentially told to just glue it back into place. Which, sure, the pragmatic response, but the ideal is that this would have not passed QA, and gluing back together something that was a substantial purchase even before being able to use it because it got out the door like that is a bit of a feels-bad moment, and impacted my perception of the folks involved. I do hope they have learned a lot, since, and that the NANOQ is held to higher scrutiny and quality standards.

The case quality itself is A+ top tier…

The case quality itself is A+ top tier work - well done there!
Unfortunately, the magnets holding onto the side panel let down the case as a whole by falling off. Thus creating unnecessary DIY to control the rattling.
The power button at the back started to annoy me too after a while but this is a first world problem considering I bought the case 100% for aesthetics.

Support in the beginning was a little annoying with these guys. They professed that one of the old school Silverstone 240 rads would fit with 1 fan, which turned out not be on Gen 1. So a wasted buy for me right there. I think they could have probably designed this a touch larger to properly accommodate 240 rads with 2 low profile fans without too much compromise.

3 stars is a harsh mark considering it's probably one of the most sleek machined cases I've owned... and I've had the Dan A4, Ncase N1, and most of the other decent Itx cases.
I normally sell a case once I stop using it, but I've kept this one for a future build one day (once decent GPU's are dual slot again). The case being understated and minimal should help it not look dated 5 years from now.
Although support from these guys wasn't the best, I'm not so angry about it as these guys were small outfit and surely had trouble scaling up with demand.
All said and done I don't have an regrets buying this case.

Excellent case quality

Thor Zone delivered on their crowdfunding promises and delivered a very premium sff case with an excellent focus on build quality. It is easy to build in, has good component support and looks stunning. Price reflects material choice as well as low production volume and uniqueness. Looks like their next iteration, the Nanoq, is going to be even better in all every way.

Good Things come to those who Wait

The THORZONE MJOLNIR case I bought is a premium product, amazingly well thought out, designed and manufactured. As any new company has it's growing pains (delays in mfg and shipping mostly), they were overall above average on the communication about the product and the expected wait. I used this time to convince myself that I was not buying a luxury product but a bespoke solution, and I think feel that way about the company and the product.

Premium aesthetics in a premium package

I bought a thor mjolnir almost 2 years ago, it arrived one year ago, yeah i know is a long wait time, but i was in love with that sff case. It was my first build, got no issues with them except for a magnet or 2 fell. Nothing that a bit of superglue can fix. No scratches, everything well packed and it worked seamlesy out of the box. Only remark points would have been to go updating the compatible gpu for newer model as the 2.5 gpu bay made me return 2 gpu before finding one that fitted ( a saphhire 7800 xt with 2 fans). It was a bit pricey but for a limited run of cases was expected. I feel bad for leaving 4 stars, but it is a solid company with some minor points to improve. Keep the good work

Beautiful and Sturdy

Product is amazing. Easy to build in and looks amazing! Great for a first time sff builder. Thorzone is great at communicating with you and even though there are some areas of improvement, I'd rather support a small team than a mass produced piece of plastic.

Not very honest unfortunatley

Mjolnir shell looks great. Internals aren't as good -- instant scratch marks when opening the case, magnets fall off (then you are told to just glue them back on), Gen 4 Riser cable is not fully Gen 4 compatible and zero compensation given, glass was not tempered glass as promised, rewards for Kick Starter were removed with ZERO communication and the reply is we could make the case better for the money, ignores customer service messages and forum posts for months or for ever, childish responses to people with issues, replacement parts take a year and are not the same colour as the case. Fingers crossed Nanoq doesn't experience these issues.

Premium but slow

I got one of the first generation to go public. It's a beautiful case, and I appreciate that it exists, but ultimately it was overpriced. I was promised delivery in less than 3 months, but I had to wait more than 18 months for it to get delivered, and by then it was already redundant. I had to spend yet more money on a new PCIe riser cable because the generation had changed from design to delivery (3.0 to 4.0) - that's how long it took!

Their promises don't mean anything, their communication is friendly, and well meaning, but ultimately lacking. In the end I forked out something like $700AUD for a case that was simply too late and I don't think it's worth it.

Disappointing and Frustrating Experience!!! Avoid!!!

Rating: 1/5 Stars

As someone who values quality and customer service, my experience with Thor-zone was profoundly disappointing and frustrating. I feel compelled to share my experience to inform potential customers about the issues I encountered.

I was initially impressed by the designs offered by Thor-zone and placed an order with high expectations. However, the process soon turned into a nightmare. The first red flag was the excessive delay in delivery. While I was prepared for some wait, the case took almost a year to arrive. Throughout this period, communication from the company was scarce and unhelpful, leaving me in the dark about the status of my order.

Upon finally receiving the product, my disappointment only grew. The computer case, which was supposed to be a premium product, arrived in a condition that was unacceptable:

Poor Finish: The case had a substandard finish, marred by scratches and dents. It was evident that little care had gone into the final preparation of the product.

Faulty Design: Beyond the aesthetic flaws, the case was also functionally deficient. It did not align properly with standard components, making it almost unusable for its intended purpose.

Attempting to resolve these issues led to further frustration. The customer service, which was already lackluster, became non-existent post-purchase. My emails and inquiries were consistently ignored. It was only after I initiated a chargeback process that I finally received a response, which was inadequate and did not address the core issues.

In summary, my experience with the company was characterized by unexplained delays, poor product quality, and abysmal customer service. It is disheartening and unacceptable for a company to operate in this manner, especially in a market where customer satisfaction should be a priority. I strongly advise against purchasing from this company. The stress, time wasted, and the eventual disappointment are not worth the risk. There are numerous other providers who respect their customers and deliver quality products. Choose wisely and avoid Thor-zone.

Quality product from new company.

Product really is nice, but you do pay for it. That's always the case with an enthusiast market.
I had one interaction with support that was positive.
I understand that a lot of people, including myself, had to wait for quite some time to receive their case. From the beginning I was prepared to be patient, so I was not as upset as some others.
The communication and shipping shortcomings were real, but by no means a knock on the product. This case is a beautiful unit, hands down.

Great product, delay in delivery as other experienced

I got an email asking for a review on trustpilot. I can see they need more of these, because at the moment you have 2.7 stars. So here you go.
I ordered my mjolnir May 2021 and and got an estimation for delivery in August but it got delivered in end of November. I don’t know what went wrong in the production and delivery chain.
The product is nice and exclusive, still have it and enjoy it. It’s always awesome to buy from smaller companies.
5/5 for the product. -1 for the delay.
