Glassblowing Houston loves to host events, teach classes, and allow the public to experience the magic of glass. Our events include team building, client appreciation, celebrations, and holiday parties. You can start with a narrated demonstration, and then each person gets a hands-on experience creating their own glass form. Our glassblowing team teaches classes using a systematic, progressive approach. We have a three-part series: the Introduction to Glassblowing, Focus on Forms, Focus on Colors. Each series takes 6-9 individual classes, which are private and 90 minutes each. They are scheduled and paid for individually. Glassblowing experiences are for those who want to see what working with molten glass is all about. Our experiences span from 30 minutes to make a birthday ornament to three days to make your custom-designed installation with you being part of the team. Glassblowing Houston resident artists make their own unique glass art. This art is for sale during business hours in our showroom and studio. We also have an online shop where you can purchase our pieces 24/7. Want to have private shopping time? That is also available. We rent bench time if you are an experienced glass maker with no place to work. Raw glass is included (unless you are a real workhorse), but you should supply your color and tools. Come on out to our open-access studio. We are the only game in the greater Houston area. You can make your dreams into reality, experience the magic of glass, find that unique gift, and be Blown Away at the Hottest place in town!
