I am at a loss to see how this helps in any concrete sense, if you need support.
CBT is patronising, teaching you how to suck eggs if you are already aware of your feelings and where you feel them/how they affect you, etc. If you add, in the daily check ins, how poorly you feel, nothing happens. A virtual pat on the head to keep using the app… Same again the next day.
I also cannot stress this enough: CBT is not the panacea for all ills. For some, unless it is very specifically adapted, it can conversely be harmful. For those who may already have worked out that getting better sleep, exercise and support from your employer would help, I would go elsewhere for ‘help’ which does not appear to be forthcoming (including a reach out by a counsellor to be put in a wait list for the nth of never…
