If you've not driven anything like this before, then nothing will prepare you for the sheer raw experience of an open wheel car. The vibrations, the steering, the noise, just changing gear is a thought process you thought you'd mastered after driving manuals for decades, and all whilst trying to remember a few of the things your instructor told you on the guided laps. Exhilarating, but also fun. You don't need to be a Lando to enjoy it for what it is, an experience.

Fun day out at Thruxton. The circuit was well signposted, checking in easy, and the staff were polite and helpful. The instructors were fun and knowledgeable and explained how to get the most out of the car and the circuit. Driving the Alpine and the Tacing car was great fun, just would have loved more laps. Fun experience and sure I’ll be back!

Allowed me to push myself! The Alpine was lovely; paddle shift and lots of power. The instructor worked with my previous experience and gave professional feedback - the single-seater reminded me of past glories so many years ago. Very fast.
