Scam.

ThunderBit has chosen to ignore multiple requests to cancel my subscription, and insists on continuing to charge me.

Nov. 2: I purchased a 1-month subscription, decided the product wasn't for me, and I canceled later that day using the email address listed on the invoice and receipt that ThunderBit sent me.

Dec. 2: I get charged for another month of the subscription I canceled on Nov. 2. The invoice and receipt list the email address I logged into on Nov. 2 to cancel. I try again to cancel, and reach out to ThunderBit to resolve the matter.

As of today, December 9, ThunderBit's position is that my account is on another email address other than the one they've listed on any of the receipts/invoices they've sent me. After I sent them these four documents to verify this, their customer service stopped responding to me.

So right now, ThunderBit will not allow me to cancel my subscription, and will continue charging me despite repeated attempts & requests to cancel.

Disappointing Experience with Tool's Performance and Support

The tool demonstrates strong potential but currently falls short in several critical areas. Credits are frequently wasted due to infinite loops, and the refund process is both cumbersome and delayed. Reliable pagination and subpage scraping capabilities are also lacking, including for websites without a “next” button, which limits overall usability.

Customer support further adds to the challenge, with slow and inconsistent responses making it difficult to depend on the tool for time-sensitive or business-critical tasks.

To meet customer expectations and gain trust, the product team needs to address infinite loop issues, strengthen scraping functionality, and improve support responsiveness. With these improvements, the tool could become a far more stable and reliable solution.

Misleading pricing – charged $199 without consent

I signed up for what was clearly advertised as a $16.58/month plan with a 7-day free trial. But without warning, Thunderbit charged me $199 upfront for a full year, with no clear option to choose the monthly plan.

This is a classic bait-and-switch.

I reached out to support right away, thinking it was a mistake. They refused to issue a refund even though I was still within the trial period. Their response was dismissive and blamed me, despite the misleading UI.

I would not recommend Thunderbit. Be very careful.
What you see on the pricing page is not what you’re actually charged.

I accidentally chose the annual plan…

I accidentally chose the annual plan instead of the monthly one, and Thunderbit’s team refunded me right away and switched me to a monthly plan without any hassle. I haven’t used the app much yet, but the customer service is excellent — fast, professional, and helpful. Looking forward to testing more features.

Not good as expected

Not good as expected. It gets stopped recently after 10,19,21 pages scrap whereas I gave 100+ pages urls. It takes me a lot of time again and again to make the full scrap. Ultimately it is killing too much time to organise, retry, refill the links.

Not worthy at this moment if they can't fix it.

But apart from that I can do a good job in terms of AI scraper.
