I hate to write a bad review on this company as I really love there boots. However I feel as if there quality is slipping. I have two boots, one that I have had for 7 months and only worn a handful of times. The other day I noticed that the entire sole of the boot is falling away from the upper part. The other pair I have had for about 4 months and the heel fell of while walking.
Update:
Thursday boots reach out to me directly and made it right by sending me a new pair of boots. Not very many companies will honor there products durability by making exchanges or replacements hassle free as possible

Ordered boots to the UK, boots came ok however were not suitable. I paid £225 for the boots to get to me, to send them back cost me £30 in postage, then I got hit with US customs import charges of $37 before they would be released. When the refund finally reached me I only got refunded £155.85 by Thursday Boots. So just to try these boots on my feet, re package and send back cost me £100. If ordering to the UK, think twice about this company.

Truly truly truly awful.
I can't even begin to articulate how poor this company are at dealing with issues. Maybe you will have a different experience but for me they have been terrible.
Follow up - It was not taken care! Upon me to return an item that was significantly late, then not wanted, and they didn't offer international pick up courier - I had to return the item at my own inconvenience. Moreover they didn't even pick up a phone - claiming they just offer an online service. Just avoid this company
As if this review couldn't have got worse - just been deducted £70 from my refund for international shipping and custom duties.
Literally the worst company you might ever hope to meet.

Twice they have sent defective boots (captains).
On both occasions the leather has peeled off from the boot. On the first occasion they replaced the boot (after a month of back and forward of them attempting to shift the blame to me).
On the second they are refusing to replace based on the fact I used a non thursday boot product (its shoe polish ive used on other shoes including some very known and expensive UK boot brands). This is a massive cope to the fact they sent me defective boots twice. Ive worn the second pair a handful of times.
Avoid this company like the plague. Go for Loakes, Doctor Martins, Trickers boots the northampton company, or crocket and jones.
What do you expect from boots manufactured in Mexico and "finished" in the US.
Again, I would avoid. Even if youre initially happy, the customer service is dreadful.

I am a UK resident and bought a pair of Casa Moto boots. The size that arrived was too small. The team (Kathleen in particular) that helped me with the return / exchange were great - really helpful in making sure that my exchange (at a set flat fee) was for shoes that actually fit. Yes, this was expensive as I had to send them back, and then pay this flat fee - but better that, than be stuck with boots that don't fit. The boots are great - really good quality, and comfortable. My recommendation is to reach out to them if you are in doubt about size - their advice was really good!
UPDATE: Refund was received and Thursday Boot Company did reach out offering a $50 gift card as an apology for the refund taking so long.
Ordered an Edition Jacket which did not fit properly. Returned in November. It is now December 10 and no refund. On top of no refund, Thursday Boot Company is now trying to charge me AGAIN (albeit a slightly different amount than originally charged). Now I forced to dispute both charges with my credit card company.

I purchased a pair of loafers. I always order a 9m. When I tried on, they slipped slightly on the heel. According to their website, they have a "finger test" that would indicate if you should order a size up or down. The fit test indicated I ordered the correct size. So instead of returning, I decided to keep. I wore 1 x and had a blister on my heel. I tried 1 more time to wear and again the same. At that point it was beyond their 30 day window. When asked if they could make an exception, they stated no. So now I have a $150 pair of shoes I cant wear. Would NEVER buy from them again.

100/100.. customer service is top notch, boots are extremely comfortable and look great! I had a slight issue with some of the finish rubbing off, I reached out and they not only were quick to respond but they sent me a new pair of boots and told me to keep the pair I already have! You just don’t find customer service like that nowadays!

Thursday's return/exchange policy and customer service are really best-in-class. Exchanges are fast and painless (for me it was ~1week turnaround). It's not really something you appreciate until you have a QC issue or second thoughts on a purchase, but there's peace of mind in that I won't be stuck with a pair I don't like. Additionally, the customer service team will really go the distance to make sure you're satisfied, and it just makes the entire experience stress-free.

I just received my second pair of captain's boots. The first pair had a bad break-in period, but afterwards, I have come to believe they are the best boots I have ever worn. So, I purchased the same pair with the intention of getting the old one repaired. I finally wore through the rubber on the heel and toe of the boot after two years of wearing it every day for work. I have no doubt this new pair will hold up the same. They are large, so get smaller size than you think.

Ordered via social media stupidly. Being a size 14uk I was surprised to find they did my size so naturally I purchased based on that alone as it’s hard to come by larger size boots. The Boots arrived after I did their online size checker and they confirmed this was the right size for me. I couldn’t even fit my feet in the boots, the leather creased almost instantly on the tongue when I put my feet in and they were unbelievably narrow. £190 I paid for the boots with free delivery, £58 with dhl to send them back to USA I received £145.58 back into my account which is apparently the base price of the boots. Lesson learnt! If you’re going to order from abroad use a brand you know! I don’t recommend.

about 2 years ago I purchased the captain Brandy's. they heald up really good and age well! They are still waterproof only the heel part is a bit worn out but a €20 trip to the shoe repair made them as new. So I decided to invest in another pair last month (Captain stormking in black) and thought, well might as well order a matching belt too. I really like the boots, they are just as high quality and they fit me perfectly unlike the 1-star reviews that say they dont fit. The only thing I really do not like is the belt, it already started peeling after the third wear. I mean, for €80 I thought I was gonna get a really good quality belt that I would wear the rest of my life, but instead its mediocre at best.
All in all a good quality BOOT company. I will for sure purchase another pair next year if the stormking pair holds up good.

Avoid at all costs! Their shoes are extremely narrow, there sizing is completely wrong and they publish fake reviews and do not allow any reviews below 5 star to go on their website.
Their customer service is appalling, they are rude and just tell you that you’re wrong.

On my second pair, these being Captain Stormking. They fit perfectly,(12 wide),smell delicious and are perfectly matched to each other. The tobacco leather is so low maintenance and is just the right thickness for toughness and comfort. The high quality soft leather liners are a nice feature and the stitching of the leather is flawless. 360 Goodyear welt will allow for easy resoling. Also the price is still the same $200 as my first pair 3 years ago!!!

Like a few other people on here, I followed their size guide and it resulted in me purchasing the wrong size. They then charge a fortune to get it returned to them, which is unfair given their information led to the wrong size being purchased (for which delivery was also charged). Shoes are not bad but if you're not able to try them on in person go elsewhere because their online guides are wrong and you will be left out of pocket by a lot of money to organise a return.

Update: changed from 1 to 5 stars. Thursday boots ended up refunding the cost of the return along with an extra $50 as a good will gesture. Hats off for great customer service.
Evri was and still is the real issue here I would recommend a different carrier. Thursday boots have more than redeemed themselves.
Love the boots hated the customer service. I ordered some boots half a size too small and tried to return them. I spent £45 on the return and when prompted by the carrier to contact the consignee, Thursday boots told me they don’t and wouldn’t pay tax and duties to receive the items. The boots have since been returned to me and I’m currently paying finance on boots that I can’t use and I’m out of pocket by £45 by attempting to return them. I’ve bought other products before but doubtful I’d use them again.

Return process is extremely cumbersome, it took a lot of back and fort with the seller because they didn't want to give me a return label and shipments from EU to USA often get stuck without it. Finally they gave me a return label, so yes it is possible, but you literally have to write them every day and insist to get such a simple thing. So if they tell you that is not possible, that means that they just don't want to do it.
They received this item on Dec 3, since then I have not received my money back. They are sending me to PayPal and telling me that PayPal is blocking the money, which is ridiculous. I even called PayPal to check. In reality, they either don't want to give the money back or aren't very competent, but bottom line is - you will lose so much time with them if you have any minor issue or have to return your order. So don't do this to yourself. This is by far the worst and craziest customer support situation I've ever had in my life. Literally, the worst customer support team, and I just talked to PayPal. #4383768

The jacket i ordered never came, but they took the payment from klarna, has mailed them, and the jacket was out stock, but never bothered to contack me, wont give any Compensiason for my inconvinience either! Dissapointed!

I really wanted to love these derby shoes, but the laces have been a constant headache. No matter how I tie them—standard knot, double knot, tight, loose—they come undone within minutes. It’s extremely annoying and makes the shoes unreliable for daily wear. For the price, I expected better quality control. The boots themselves look great, but the lace issue ruins the experience. I’m hoping the company addresses this because right now, I can’t recommend them.
