Account Closed Due to error on their behalf

I successfully traded an s2f+ account and received a payout. After the payout, my account was supposed to be reactivated, but it remained paused due to an internal issue related to their migration from Tradovate to ProjectX.

Because the account stayed paused, I was unable to place trades. I opened multiple support tickets during this time specifically asking for the paused status to be resolved. The issue was never fixed.

Despite trading being technically impossible, the company later enforced their weekly trading requirement and closed the account for inactivity. After escalating and asking for a review, I was informed that the decision was “final,” without addressing the fact that the account remained disabled due to a system issue that had already been reported. Unable to get the account back due to an issue on their behalf and they have not been responding in good faith to resolve this issue.

Update for their response: Their claims are false, my account was never unpaused, and my support tickets I have previously sent were never resolved regarding the paused status. No matter how I try to tell them this I get the same generic response.

Hello Rylan,

We want to clarify that the circumstances described in your review do not accurately reflect the reason your account was closed.

After we successfully processed your payout on November 24, no eligible trading activity occurred on the account. Despite this, you have submitted an additional payout request on December 29 without meeting the required trading conditions. Submitting a payout request without qualifying activity constitutes a violation of the program rules and triggers enforcement action under the agreement.

Regarding the paused status, your account was temporarily paused during the Tradovate to Project X platform migration, as communicated by our support team at the time. The account was subsequently reviewed and unpaused; however, the ineligible payout request prompted a final compliance review.

Following this review, your account was terminated in accordance with platform rules. This decision was based on documented account activity and applied consistently with our policies.

Any account-specific details and explanations were communicated directly through our official support email.

Hello Johan,

We’d like to clarify the circumstances referenced in your review.

Your account was terminated due to repeated violations of the maximum contract limit. After the first violation, a one-time exception was granted, and a formal final warning was issued, clearly stating that any further breach would result in permanent account closure.

Despite this warning, the same rule was violated again on subsequent trading days. As outlined in the program terms, trading rules are applied consistently and are not adjusted to individual trading styles. Repeated violations following a final warning require account termination to maintain fairness and risk integrity across the platform.

This decision was made in accordance with the rules accepted at account creation and is final.

Normal Until You Request a Payout

Everything seems fine at the beginning, but once it comes time for a payout, the problems start. Instead of paying, they look for any possible excuse to delay or deny it. Rules are suddenly “reinterpreted,” new issues are brought up, or vague violations are mentioned that were never clearly explained before.

Hello Mostafa,

We’d like to clarify the basis of the decision referenced in your review.

Your account was reviewed following trading activity that exceeded the maximum contract limit, which is a clearly defined rule under the S2F+ program. This rule is set out in the program terms accepted at account creation and is not reinterpreted or introduced at the payout stage. Enforcement is based solely on confirmed trading activity.

As outlined in the program terms, trading results are only eligible when all risk parameters are fully respected. When defined limits are exceeded, any results generated during that period cannot be recognized for payout purposes. In this case, the audit confirmed that the account’s performance included trades placed while the contract limit was exceeded, which required payout rejection and account termination in accordance with policy.

Account reviews are not triggered by payout requests, nor are rules applied selectively. Reviews are conducted to ensure compliance and consistency across all accounts. The outcome in this case was reviewed and confirmed by our Risk Management and Audit teams and is final.

Any account-specific communication regarding this matter has already been handled through our official support email.

My payout request was rejected and account deactivated without any details. Such a scammer company I wasted $9k on this bullshit. Please avoid at all cost. Dont trust the reply, their only intend is to obtain money from you, only pay if you want to lose your money. I have other better recommendations which has similar funding programs. They cant even pay their tradovate bills (have proof from tradovate email), their main goal is only to take money from you.

Hi Adrian,

We’d like to clarify that the interpretation of the policies in your review does not reflect the terms accepted at the time of account creation.

As outlined in the agreement, multiple users are not permitted to operate accounts from the same IP address or household. This policy is enforced consistently to ensure a fair and compliant trading environment.

Following a review of the account activity, a violation of our Multi-Account and Shared IP Policy was confirmed.

As a result, your account was permanently closed in accordance with the program rules. This decision was based on documented system findings and standard policy enforcement.

Our policies regarding IP sharing and multi-user access are publicly available and form part of the agreement accepted during account creation.

Should you need clarification, our Support team remains available via email at help@tickticktrader.com.

Unfair account closure after payout request – lack of transparency

I purchased a 50K account from TickTickTrader and followed all the rules required to pass the evaluation.
The requirement was to reach 10 points, which I successfully did.

After reaching the 10 points, I submitted a payout request.
Only after the payout request, my account was reviewed and I was told that I violated the maximum contracts rule (5 contracts).

What is important to clarify:

The issue happened during the transition from Tradovate to ProjectX

I briefly entered 2 contracts, made 12 points, and closed the trade within the same minute

The trade resulted in a loss of around $130

I did not benefit from this trade in any way

There was no intention to gain extra profit or abuse the rules

At no point was I warned or blocked before completing the 10-point requirement

I even provided video explanations and screenshots and asked support to review my full trading history, which clearly shows that my trading was consistent and rule-respecting overall.

Despite this, TickTickTrader refused the payout and closed my account instead of addressing the issue fairly or warning me earlier.

This experience shows:

Lack of transparency

Rules enforced only after payout requests

No consideration of trader intent or actual benefit

I believe this situation could have been handled much more fairly.

Hi El Yahya,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand why this outcome feels frustrating, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify our review process and decision.

Following a thorough assessment, our Risk Management Team identified trading activity that exceeded the maximum contract limit defined under the S2F+ program. This rule applies at all times and is enforced based on actual trading activity, regardless of intent, duration of the trade, or whether the trade resulted in a gain or a loss.

As outlined in the program terms, performance can only be recognized when all trading rules are fully respected. When activity exceeds defined risk limits, any associated results—positive or negative—cannot be considered valid under the program. In this case, the account’s performance included trades executed while the contract limit was exceeded, which made the results ineligible.

Account reviews are conducted to ensure accuracy and consistent rule enforcement and are not tied to the timing of payout requests. The decision was reviewed by our Risk Management Team and applied in accordance with established policy.

Any account-specific communication related to this matter has already been addressed through our support channel.

Thank you for your understanding.

Dear TickTickTrader Team,

Dear TickTickTrader Team,

Your final decision is extremely disappointing and reflects very poorly on the professionalism and fairness of your company.

You confirmed there was no bad intention and that all profits were generated through genuine trading — yet instead of supporting traders and handling matters fairly, you chose to terminate the account and reject the payout.

What makes this worse is the fact that the first violation occurred as early as December 17, yet you did not block or suspend the account at that time. You allowed me to continue trading, complete 12 green trading days, maintain months of responsible trading history, and only after I requested a payout — you decided to enforce termination. This timing makes the decision feel opportunistic and unfair.

A professional and trustworthy prop firm would:

- Stop the account immediately when a violation first occurs
- Provide a clear warning instead of waiting
- Implement system safeguards (like most serious firms do)
- Apply a proportional consequence rather than completely destroying an active, profitable, and compliant account

Your approach shows lack of transparency, fairness, and respect toward traders who try to build a serious long-term relationship with your firm. This experience leaves a very negative impression, and I will make sure to share it publicly with trading communities so others are aware of how cases like this are handled at TickTickTrader.

Regards,
Moshe

Hi משה חיים לוי,

We understand your frustration with the outcome; however, the statements in your review do not accurately reflect the basis of our decision.

Our Risk Management team reviewed your account and found it violated the maximum contract limit on multiple trading days, a clearly defined rule under the S2F+ program that applies regardless of intent or prior trading history.

As outlined in the program terms, profits are valid only when generated in full compliance with all trading rules. Trading activity that exceeds defined risk limits is non-compliant, and any resulting PnL cannot be recognized or paid. In this case, the account’s profitability during the relevant period was directly linked to trades executed while the contract limit was exceeded, which rendered the results ineligible under the program rules.

Reviews are conducted to ensure accuracy and compliance and are not tied to the timing of payout requests. The decision was reviewed by our Risk Management team and applied in line with established policy.

Any account-specific communication regarding this matter has already been addressed directly through our support channel.

SCAM

Logged in this morning in projectx to find out all my ticktick trader accounts were missing. My Tradovate accounts were not only switched over to projectx without my consent but now gone.

This is what traders have to go through dealing with these so called prop firms with lack of regulation to hold them accountable.

Account closed after 2 years due to company issues, not client performance

I had an active TickTickTrader performance account for approximately two years with no violations or issues on my side.

Prior to the account closure, NinjaTrader communicated to users that TickTickTrader’s access to the platform was suspended due to TickTickTrader’s contractual and payment-related defaults, not due to any technical limitation or client action.

Shortly after that communication, my account was closed. When I contacted support, the closure was justified by retroactively invoking a 180-day contract clause, despite the account having remained active for two years with no prior notice of expiration or renewal requirement.

The support responses were polite but did not address the actual context of the closure nor offer any reasonable solution.

I’m sharing this review so other traders can make an informed decision.

Scam Alert

Scam Alert

First there are under financial stress. They started migrating all tradovate accounts to ProjectX without asking, because they did not pay the fees for tradovate for month. They started to invent rules and told everyone who has accounts over 180 days, they will expire after 180 days, I had my account for over a year. they gave 7 day time limit to reach the targets which is not even possible with the consistuency Rule in 5 Days. They now deleted the account with saying I would not have asked for extension. I asked on the first day, I talked to several people in the support, someone told he would give the request to team, than it took about 3 days till they responded and now they just tell the grace period were expired.

edit: there were still plenty of draw down left to bring it back to Break even. In your agreement it does not say anything with 180 days the account will expire. For people who are far away from the target this grace period is a joke, you are not generous at all. I would never ever buy a direct Account which can be traded only for only 6 month.

edit/ for me another red flag, when you are not even allowed to flip that the account to remains active. This is another rule which is not transparent at all. But you never informed me with this per email. In another post on trustpilot you tell about privacy and communication per email, but now you give answers which you never explaint me per email. Why you even give a grace period to all account even it is not reacheable for those which are not close to targets?

Please allow us to add the facts , You had an account for more than one year, your account was negative and close to Minimum account balance then you started placing micro contracts in order to avoid the inactivity rule. This practice is also prohibited as per our ToS and signed agreement.
The grace period was a goodwill gesture for the traders who were close to the target.

--- Update 12.17.25 ---

Hi Ryan,

Your payout request submitted on December 9, 2025 is currently under review, which is a standard step in our payout process. The request remains within the stated five (5) business-day review window and has not exceeded the applicable processing timeframe.

During periods of high request volume and platform updates, payout reviews may take additional time to complete. This does not affect the validity of your request or the security of your funds. Your Profit Score has already been verified and correctly reflected on your dashboard, and your payout will proceed once the review is finalized.

Regarding support communication, updates provided during the review period are part of a structured process to ensure accuracy and consistency. While some responses may be automated for status updates, reviews and approvals are handled by the appropriate internal teams.

Once the review is completed, you will be notified via email. For any further account-specific follow-up, we recommend continuing communication through support so your request can be tracked properly.

They cancelled my account and refuse to pay the balance.…

I broke the maximum contract number rule because I accidentally clicked the mouse twice. I immediately canceled the transaction and didn't make any profit because of this mistake. I even warned them that I had made this error. They canceled my account and said they won't pay me the balance I had or the value of my live wallet. They can cancel it, but it's not fair that they don't pay me the amount I worked so hard to earn. To me, that's dishonest.

---- Update 12.17.25 ----

Hi RNunes,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Our records show that the account in question was operating under an S2F+ account, which has clearly defined maximum contract limits as a core risk parameter. On October 30, a formal final warning was issued to you for exceeding this limit, explicitly stating that any further violations would result in account termination.

Following this warning, a subsequent contract-limit violation occurred. While you reported the incident promptly and indicated that the orders were closed immediately, the audit confirmed that this constituted a repeat violation of the same rule. Under the signed agreement, repeated breaches—particularly after a final warning—require immediate account termination, regardless of intent or profitability.

With respect to balances, when an account is terminated due to a confirmed breach of program terms, remaining balances and access are forfeited in accordance with the agreement. A payout had already been processed for you prior to this termination; however, additional distributions are not permitted once a multi-violation status is confirmed.

This decision was based on documented account history and applied in line with our standard risk and compliance procedures. For any further questions related to your account, support remains available through the appropriate channel.

I bought three direct 250K accounts, which are lifetime accounts, unless they get blown.
These accounts are not cheap, at around 1000AUD each.

I emailed support a few months ago asking about a 180 day rule limit. They stated it did not exist. Sure enough over 180 days after the account being active, they closed the account with over 7K profit, stating that the account has a “180 day limit” Avoid this company at all costs.

Hi Nick,

Thank you for sharing your feedback—we truly appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns regarding your experience with TickTickTrader.

The account referenced in your review was not deactivated without notice. As of today, this grace period remains active and we highly encourage traders to respond.

When the account reached the 180-day (six-month) performance window, a 7-day grace period notice was issued with clear instructions. Traders who respond within the grace period are granted extensions and can continue trading to reach their targets.

The 180-day performance window has always been defined in the program agreement. Accounts are not represented as permanent or lifetime accounts, and account status remains subject to the program terms.

If you received this notice, you are encouraged to respond within the stated timeframe so your account can be reviewed accordingly. Our Support Team remains available for assistance.

Hi Miguel,

We take feedback seriously and would like to clarify the facts surrounding this review for transparency.

TickTickTrader accounts do not “expire” arbitrarily. The account referenced was subject to a clearly defined six-month (180-day) performance window, which is outlined in our program rules and communicated through multiple notices. When this period elapsed without the required target being reached, a final 7-day grace period was issued as a courtesy before deactivation.

Regarding support communication:
At no point was the account described as “permanent” or “lifetime.” Our support team correctly explained that accounts may remain active only while they are in good standing and within the applicable program conditions, including performance timelines and inactivity rules. These conditions are applied across all traders.

We understand the frustration that can arise when program conditions are not met, but characterizing this as a “scam” or “account blocking” is inaccurate. The account was handled in accordance with the agreed program terms, with advance notice and an additional grace period provided.

We remain committed to fair, transparent, and rule-based operations for all traders.

Beware !!!!!!!! TickTickTrader Uses False Accusations to Refuse Payouts

It’s honestly unbelievable to hear you talk about “trust” when you can’t even pay your own service providers like Tradovate on time. You expect traders to trust your platform, yet you fail to handle the most basic operational responsibilities.

If an evaluation company can’t settle its own bills with a broker, how can anyone trust you with payouts?
How can you talk about “integrity,” “security,” or “risk management” when you can’t even maintain a stable payment relationship with the broker you force your traders to use?

Instead of hiding behind the same copy-paste excuses about “multi-user activity” and “trust issues,” start fixing the real problem:
your inability to process payouts and your ongoing issues with Tradovate.

You keep accusing traders of violations to justify delays, while the real issue is clearly on your side.
A company that can’t manage its own obligations has no credibility to question the honesty of its users.

Before lecturing traders about trust, start by proving you can meet your own financial commitments. That’s the minimum requirement for a legitimate business.

They constantly make arbitrary…

They constantly make arbitrary decisions, trying to bend the rules to their advantage; they clearly don't care about the traders. I bought three direct accounts with them, and since then, they've changed rules, such as the minimum withdrawal amount. Now, for example, they send a message saying that accounts have a 180-day lifespan, and if you don't make the withdrawals within that time, the account will be deactivated. They clearly have cash flow problems and are trying to eliminate potential traders with upcoming payouts. A few weeks ago, Tradovate decided to stop working with them, and at no point did they bother to explain what was happening. My advice to any trader seeing this is to go to another funding company or open a personal account.

12/12/2025
It's deplorable how they handle and conceal information. I consulted with Tradovate, and they clearly told me that the company stopped paying invoices, which is why they stopped working... so imagine what defenseless traders can expect… They just kicked me out of their Discord server for giving my opinion regarding their 180-day rule.

This response to a user named "Lucky" below demonstrates how sloppy they handle everything. I've been talking to support for days to get an extension or a refund for my accounts, but they tell me it's not possible. However, they offer it to another user as if it were nothing.

"Furthermore, we can review your account for a possible extension of the deadline, as we have done for other users who contacted us with mitigating circumstances."

Hi Juan Ignacio Cerra,

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We regret that you feel our decisions are arbitrary and that you perceive a lack of care for our traders. We must directly address the specific points you raised, as we believe there is significant misunderstanding regarding our contractual terms and operational status.

The 180-day lifespan for each trading account is not a new rule. This provision has been clearly stipulated in the Agreement/Terms accepted by all users at the time of purchase. While we previously did not strictly enforce this contractual provision, we are now adhering to it as part of a company-wide effort to ensure full compliance with our established rules. The recent email provided a final 7-day grace period for affected accounts to meet the payout target, demonstrating fairness to our long-term traders.

We understand there may be confusion regarding the minimum withdrawal amount. We can confirm that the minimum withdrawal amount has always been the same since the launch of the Direct Accounts.

We strongly refute the baseless allegation that TickTickTrader has "cash flow problems." Our successful processing of payouts to profitable traders remains a core operational function. The enforcement of the 180-day lifespan is a compliance decision based on existing contractual terms, not a cash-saving measure.

While we do not disclose the specifics of our operational partnerships, we assure you that any decision regarding brokerage or platform partners is made to maintain a stable and robust trading environment for our users. We always strive to transition users smoothly and communicate changes affecting access.

We value all our traders, including long-term profitable ones like yourself. We strongly encourage you to review the original Terms and Conditions you accepted to fully understand the life span and withdrawal provisions of your direct accounts.

The transition requires multiple reviews, compliance/KYC checks, and risk/routing configuration to ensure the account is set up correctly and in line with applicable policies. Because several teams and external partners are involved, timelines can vary. To avoid setting inaccurate expectations, we don’t promise exact dates; instead, we notify traders as soon as each milestone is cleared and the account is ready.

Regarding S2F vs. S2F+: it’s normal to see S2F+ traders reach live sooner. S2F+ is an enhanced program with a defined path-to-live from the outset, and the live balance begins building from day one. That structure enables earlier live placement; it isn’t queue-jumping, but a different program design.

We’re also continually revising and improving the live program to give traders every possible chance of success—tightening communication touchpoints, streamlining handoffs, and reducing avoidable delays. We understand the eagerness to go live; at the same time, we won’t rush steps that could introduce errors.
