faulty product, faulty replacement, and refusal to honour a written refund promise
My experience with TidalClean has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The first product I received was faulty, and although they replaced it, the replacement item was also faulty. After all of this inconvenience, I asked on 31st December whether my return postage would be refunded. On 3rd January, their own customer support team confirmed in writing: “We usually don't cover return postage costs but on this occasion we can.”
Despite this clear written commitment, TidalClean later refused to honour it and declined to refund the £6.59 they had already agreed to. Being let down once is frustrating being let down repeatedly, and then having a written promise ignored, is unacceptable.
What also concerns me is the inconsistency between the reviews shown on their website and the reality on Trustpilot. Their website claims 98+ reviews at 4.7/5, yet on Trustpilot there is only one review at 1 star. This raises serious questions about the transparency and reliability of the reviews they promote.
Two faulty products, poor customer service, and a refusal to honour their own written agreement I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
