Absolutely abysmal. They've blocked a payment to my other business account, which has the same name as my account with them, and they're communication at getting it sorted is pretty much non existent. The app is now saying that it needs an update except there is no update and I can't access the app to try and sort the payment issue out. I have people that need to paid and payments going out of the other account that I now can't do because they have my money and won't release it. This was my first month using them and I will not be using them again.

Tide is certainly one of the better online banks, having tried a few other i know, support calls are confirmed to be genuine via the app and security.
I have been with tide around 5 year's and support has always been very on point and prompt, this time it was about a dodgy email going around and a new more system for portable payment machines, it nice to see they have their eye on the ball as far as security is concerned, been reading some of the negative reviews about Tide, thats not my experience, 5 stars every time I have contacted Tide
Nandini K has been extremely helpful during the process of opening a bank account with Tide. She guided me (CFO for the business) and the director through all the steps required, making the whole application process a breeze.

I’m extremely disappointed with Tide.
I deposited cash into my account, expecting it to be available within a reasonable time. Instead, due to an ongoing issue on their side, my money has not been credited and there is no clear timeframe for when this will be resolved.
Because of this delay, I missed my rent payment and was unable to afford basic essentials like my weekly food shop. This isn’t just an inconvenience — it’s had a real impact on my day-to-day life.
What’s most frustrating is the lack of certainty and accountability. Being told there is no timeframe and no clarity on when I’ll be able to access my own money is simply not acceptable.
I understand technical issues can happen, but customers should not be left in a position where they cannot access their own funds for essential living costs.
I expect this to be resolved urgently and for Tide to take responsibility for the impact this has caused.
