The company completely screwed me. They messed up my inventory over 10x and I have the emails to prove that. They overcharged me the day of my move and they told me they were going to throw my furniture in the street and that I was a c*nt. Specifically a mover named Fernando. The moving company also came a day late, I missed my flight, I had to drive cross country and I missed giving my car to be shipped. They broke the floor of my apartment I got my stuff over a month later with a lot of it damaged I called to complain to no avail. As well when my stuff arrived they said I needed to pay more money or it would go to a warehouse where I would have to pay a daily rate.

RUN. They will feed you lie after lie in attempt to get you to sign the contract, give you a low quote, set you up with a 1-STAR moving company with an entirely different process that violates your rights, and then fall off the face of the earth. We were quoted at $2036 and ended up paying $3041. Tierney is running a bait and switch business and they need to be shut down, just like all the other criminal moving brokers in Florida. Go with a known moving company. Do not make the same mistake we did just to try and save a buck. They do not have trucks as shown in the photo on their site. The good reviews are fake. Avoid at all costs.

What I originally booked this company I was told that if I paid an extra thousand dollars my items would be delivered the next day. That was a lie. I was told that they would arrive at 8:00 AM on Monday. That was a lie. The men who came to pack my apartment were very disrespectful of my things, broke my printer and caused a flood in my bathroom while disconnecting the water line from my refrigerator. That was a fiasco. The manager of the three men kept asking for a tip. At one point he asked me to move the chair I was sitting on and I said anything you need . Under his breath he said you could go to the bank. We did not leave my house until 5:30 PM to make a 12 Hour Dr. to the Charleston South Carolina area. When I got to Charleston we expected the truck to arrive on Tuesday. Today is Thursday and they just got done unloading the truck. The condition of some of the boxes is unbelievable. I would never recommend this company. Everything they told me seemed to be a lie. I just called to ask about my thousand dollars and was put on hold by a manager who never got back on the line. Unethical and unprofessional. If I could've given them zero stars I would have.

They worked from 9 a.m. and we finished around 10:30 p.m., moving our entire three bedroom home, including my piano and a significant collection of books. The movers were great with the move and made the move easy and smooth for us.

I do not recommend this company! Booking the move and paying my deposit was fairly easy, the problem was repeated lack of communication.

My move was delayed for two days the morning I was expecting pick up (that was upsetting of course, but not the issue).

Six times in 3 days (from different employees and 2 supervisors) I was told I’d receive a phone call at a certain time to update me on my move so I set aside time to take those calls and no one called. All six times.

I explained each time I set up a new call time that I hadn’t been contacted at the last arranged time and they say they understand and apologize and then continue to not call.

Their customer service was a joke. After I’d paid a $1200 deposit I can’t get a call returned when they say they’ll call, 6 times.

Why would I trust them to complete my move and pay them more money when they’ve demonstrated they can’t keep their word.

I cancelled my move and emailed the address they provided asking for a portion of my deposit back and again I got no response from that email.

I called 2 weeks later to follow up and they say they won’t refund me any amount but will credit my deposit, good for 3 years. I asked for a receipt or some proof of this credit and was told “it’ll be in our system, just call us” I continued to ask for some proof this credit exists today or in 3 years and was told they’d have to talk to management to get back to me. No surprise, I haven’t heard back yet.

I do not recommend this company.

My Mother, who has Alzheimers, contacted this company about moving her. Then promptly forgot because, Alzheimers. I found the check last week. Called them, and got blown off. Called back and was told we wouldn't be getting a refund because we missed the "72 hour cancellation window". They also refused to provide me with an invoice for the services they claim to have provided. If Zero Stars were an option, I would give that rating. Absolutely DO NOT recommend.

Thomas and his guys are professional, neat, careful, and quick! I highly recommend this moving company and will be using them again in the future for my next move.

This company is the biggest SCAM I have ever seen! Took my original inventory and low balled it offering us the best discounts “Mangers discounts they can only offer 5x a month” “student discounts” and quoted us as low as they could get it. Marcel Thomas stated he was there for us whenever we needed it but every time we called he never answered. The week before the move they called to go over my inventory list and come to find out Marcel left out half the items we gave him (when we said queen bed sets all he included was the mattress) and they more than DOUBLED our quote. After cancelling the reservation, we had three companies contact us with pick up times. After telling all 3 we cancelled we made sure to tell them how horrible Tierney is and to never contract through them again. We were led to believe they had their own trucks and movers and were deceived about every aspect of the move. To top it all off, after my move date they took an additional $1,000 out of my account for the updated inventory list and contract that we NEVER signed. They never received an updated signed contract and still took the money. They are refusing to address the new $1,000 deducted stating it’s our fault we cancelled and saying they will call us back, which never happens. We have contacted BBB and are filing all complaints possible. NEVER use this company. They take your money and provided NO services.

I used Tierny Van Lines back in July, and the experience was not the best. They gave me a time in which they would show up and did not show up until the very last minute. After my belongings were already en route, I took the train to my destination not knowing they would take nearly a month to deliver my things. I had no clothes to wear and slept on the floor until it arrived. When I finally did get it delivered it was not even all of it, I was missing a bag of my belongings. When I got ahold of the man who took my payment for the services about the Inconvenience he did not respond right away, he took 3 days and then did not give me an adequate response. He gave me the number to HIS office. I called the office and they instructed me to email them. I did and heard nothing back for a week, I called again a few days ago and was told the manager would give me a call back by the end of the day. I did not receive a call. I called again today and they person I spoke with had no idea what I was talking about and could not help me. I then sent a message back the Dan, the man who originally took the payment for the services and did not get a response. It was very frustrating dealing with this company, I do not suggest them.

The company was professional from the very start when I called to set up the time through the end when they moved my stuff in the house. The movers took added care when wrapping up my furniture to protect it as well as when they moved it. Will definitely use your company again! 200% recommended!

So either they have changed management, or the others writing reviews are liars that work for the company. Was given an estimate after asking for bids. They were the lowest that "seemed" legitimate. Paid 1/3 deposit and then waited for the next time I would talk to them to confirm 3 days out from the move. Now comes the fun part. After telling the man on the phone everything i wished moved back when I first asked for a bid, I was told that was way under the amount of cubic feet. So my 2200.00 dollar move was now 6,500.00. I questioned how it was possible to so badly underestimate the Cubic feet and said no, to please return my deposit and we would call it a day. Nope they won't do that, so now I'm like this is fraud, and let them know I would not put up with it and we would see what DOT had to say about their illegal price gouging. They said they would take another look, and it comes out back to where it was. "Moving Day", Mover shows up in a "budget rental van". Driver takes a look at everything and tells me just the bedroom is over the amount of space for the entire move. I asked is anything in this bedroom abnormal or extra large or is this an average size king bed, triple dresser, single dresser, and two bedside tables. He agreed it was all a normal sized bedroom. So somehow they had managed to underestimate the entire move to just the amount to just the bedroom, and everything else would be a charge at the stated rate. I said to hold off loading, called the local police to make a report that I could later give to DOT, and OIG. Of course the driver decided to take off before the police could arrive. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. So I lost my deposit so far, but I made the promise I will do all in my power to insure they never do this to another customer, and with any luck maybe put a couple of them behind bars for awhile.

company performed for me was nothing short of heroic. They packed up my apartment in record time, and yet still took very good care of my belongings. It really was above-and-beyond a normal days work. Highly recommended.

Best moving company and movers! Michael and his crew arrived were courteous, on time, and reasonable on the price. I would definitely use them again. They were great!
