Tiktok is very useful in our daily life which gives us information in short videos about every thing.

I wanted to return and receive a refund for two items only to find that the refund amount was about a third less than the actual purchase price. Shoes costing £12 gave a refund of £7. A jacket for £26 only gives a refund of £17. It seems that shipping costs are deducted. However this is not advised at the point of purchasing. This lack of transparency misleads customers. I will not buy anything from Tik Tok shop again. Customer service is not helpful, only a virtual assistant who send the same nonsense to everyone.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This tiktok platform is a scammer’s delight. I lost over one thousand dollars after ordering from 2 companies on this platform. No goods were delivered. On further investigation, I discovered hundreds of fake advertisers offering deeply discounted items. The modus operandi is the same: TikTok Shop endorsement and professional landing page. But, you soon discover that there is no active contact information and therefore no one to discuss why your order never arrived. I reported my experience to the European head of TikTok, who has not bothered to reply. Tiktok is knowingly making money through criminal activity. There must be a law against this. I am going to bring a class action law suit against the company. Details to follow.

I am trying to register tiktok seller account for last 7 months, the worst experience, every single time refusing the account registration and not letting me know where the problem is, on calling their customer care a stupid Chinese is online who doesn't know any thing , shame on you tiktok.

I followed a link online for "working from home with amazon". It led me to these people. I followed the WhatsApp link and asked about the job. I was told to follow a tiktok link and like the video, which I did. Was told I earned £8 just for doing that. But I needed to get the telegram app to process the payment. Alarm bells rang and I asked more about their company. They ignored my initial question and carried on prodding me to sign up to telegram. I asked again, and they sent me their London address. Which I checked, and subsequently looked at reviews. I can't say either good or bad, or if it's a scam or not. I found the person on WhatsApp to be quite pushy. It wasn't the job the original link promised, so I feel overall if they have to use a bogus carrot to draw you in, then they're not more likely not trustworthy and I'll bail out now.

Well I joined this as they already have my details and made £18 today as bonus ( they gave me in previous scam £40 as bonus to feel genuine ) they credited today to make it real and genuine and I have been asked for to contact manager who will provide me daily videos or prepaid commission work , her name is Kelly I guess she said she lives in Edinburgh U.K. . Her telegram channel is @KellyC168 and to make it genuine she displayed her DOB also on profile … well let’s see I have been told if I complete 3 days of tria I will become company employee and then after I will get £160 per day or more … I am not exited but just wanted to let you know this is also can be scam so be aware I will write another review once I complete my 3 days and become their employe . In late July 2024, I was targeted by scammers who operated under the guise of a TikTok Online Merchant Shop. Over the course of one month, I was defrauded of CAD75,000 by being coerced into funding a fraudulent drop-shipping business. The perpetrators used deceptive tactics, including promises of loans and locked store earnings, to extract funds. All payments were made through Crypto.com, converted to Ethereum, and then sent to three wallet addresses provided by the scammers.

Because it’s educational, fun entertaining it’s a very good hub to maintain like to put like self-awareness things that the world has been going through. It’s like having somewhere you can sit and watch everything just happen.

Very restrictive app and don't support freedom of speech. People are getting bans for silly comments that aren't even bad, and bans and and strikes for videos that are allowed on other social media platforms. I posted a video about the polish border showing people cutting into the metal fence and climbing through, once they got through the polish border guards turned up (they had weapons obviously as they are polish army) I got a strike. I got this video off other social media platforms and they are fine with it but yet tik tok aren't. Saying it's firearms and dangerous weapons, yet iff you pay to boost posts they would probably allow this. I've seen far worse posts on tik tok and yet they don't get strikes or bans 😡

However, ByteDance has a complex ownership structure with a significant portion owned by global institutional investors and employees. Obviously this is why you restrict people as your own people have restrictions in china

I would never let me get past the account creation. I reached out the their CS team, about verifying my address, no matter how many documents I uploaded with my address in PDF format it would not get approved. The CS team is a joke, they keep using canned phrases as if they were AI, no one could help me they just keep telling me to do the same things over and over again. It was a horrible experience I will never use them and sadly I hope no one else does either. They need better managers and a better CS department.

The item wasn't as described. Returned item and now tik tok shop not providing updates, won't issue refund and won't allow me to escalate. I have sent proof of postage and still no success. Customer service is poor

Takes too long to receive refund on a clearly malfunctioning device already returned. The system is not accurate in showing progress status. Customer service simply returns canned sentences.

I ordered 2 items total amount was $50 dollars. After a long delivery time I received 1 item but 2nd still missing. The only way I could communicate this was with a “Bot” which created a claim ticket and said I would be contacted in 2 days with an update. That was 2 weeks ago and nothing. So like I said I ordered 2 items totaling $50 dollars, 1 item was $17 dollars the other was $30, with shipping it was a little over $50 dollars. So I got the item that was $17 dollars but not the $30 dollar item. And good luck getting a customer representative on the line. I’m very disappointed with this situation. I’m convinced TICKTOK shop is a SCAM!!!! Be careful if you order from these hacks.
