I can’t thank Dr. Muhsin and his team enough everyone was so helpful and we felt very loved and cared for. I had a deep plain facelift, lip lift, temporal lift, neck lift, breast augmentation. On April 5, 2025 I am still healing from what I see now I am so pleased with the results. The procedure was done a first class hospital, including my room was just amazing and all the nurses were also very kind and caring thank you everyone for supporting me and my husband on this journey.

I’m leaving this review to share my experience and inspire others. Managing a facelift journey, especially abroad, can be daunting. After researching extensively, I chose Dr. Yilmaz in Istanbul, and I couldn’t be happier.

As a 61-year male ( who typically gets mistaken for 48, 49) from NYC, I’ve always taken care of myself, but I noticed slight jowling, neck bands, and nasolabial folds. With a permanent move to Thailand planned, I wanted a permanent solution, not fillers. Being bald, I needed a surgeon who understood my concerns about visible scars.

I contacted 6 surgeons (NYC, Philly, Bangkok, Istanbul). Many ignored my concerns, suggesting traditional incision points I didn’t want. Dr. Yilmaz stood out—he listened, showed patient photos, and explained advanced techniques. He also recommended hyperbaric oxygen treatment for faster healing. I was also a recent non-smoker so this also helped with the recovery.

Procedures I had:
- Brow lift (Gliding Brow Lift technique)
- Upper blepharoplasty
- Facelift
- Deep plane neck lift
- Chin implant
- Fat transfer to eyelids, under eyes, cheeks, and temples.

The hospital (2 night stay) was like a 5 star hotel, and Dr. Yilmaz’s assistant, Emily, was a rockstar, handling transport, appointments, and communication. I stayed 9 days post-op to ensure a smooth recovery. I am currently at 5 weeks post op. Recovery is a day-by-day process, but so far I’m thrilled with the results.

There was never a moment where I didn’t feel cared for. Dr Yilmaz was very responsive in answering any post op concerns and I was able to see him day before departure making sure I was fit to fly.

I made the right choice with Dr. Yilmaz and I would highly recommend him for anyone considering a deep plane neck & facelift.

I recently had a deep plane facelift, neck lift, and blepharoplasty surgery with Dr. Muhsin Yılmaz. I am very happy with my result. Dr. Yılmaz was truly fantastic. I stayed in the hospital for two days and he visited me every day for two days and explained to the nurses with great care what they were doing and what needed to be done. I thank the doctor and his team very much. I would like to thank Ms. Gamze for immediately answering every question I asked on WhatsApp. I would like to thank Ms. Betül for welcoming me with a smile and being kind every time I went to the doctor's office.This was a great journey for me. I highly recommend Dr Muhsin Yilmaz.

I recently had a facelift with Dr. Muhsin Yılmaz, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From the first consultation to the post-op care, everything was flawless. Dr. Muhsin is not only highly skilled but also incredibly kind and attentive. The hospital and staff were amazing—professional, caring, and always there when I needed them. I felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout the entire process.

Is not only a horrible doctor, he is also a horrible person because he pretends to be compassionate when he is just the opposite. If you question him in any way he will discard you with no follow up.

I had facelift surgery with him in February, 2025. When i did my research, i chose him because I saw good reviews, a fair price and because he says his patient safety is very important to him. He even says he uses a device to make certain he doesn't damage any nerves. I found out that many of those things were lies. I am left right now, three weeks after surgery, with the muscle in my left brow still unable to be raised due to whatever damage he caused from the surgery. Absolutely no follow up care at all from the doctor. Verbal abuse. A total lack of care or concern for patient well being.

Let me start from the beginning. As soon as the doctor and his staff received my full payment they were suddenly not as nice or friendly. While i was paying in his office, another patient who had CO2 laser on her face chest and hands told me she couldn't see or eat for three days after the treatment and NO ONE came to check on her. This was very concerning to me and it forshadowed my own horror story which was to come.

I had to pay by credit card and they told me it would be a 10 percent charge extra. I was okay with that but instead it turned out to be close to 15 percent, and they at first refused to show me the receipt. I was upset but it was too late to back out.

After surgery the doctor didn't tell me what medicines i was being given or in what dose. I didn't want to take painkillers until i talked to the doctor the next morning. When he came in he started yelling at me and told me that he was my mother and father as long as i was in the hospital and i was to do everything he and the nurses said. He was threatening and in my weakened condition and I felt very unsafe. I wanted to leave immediately but i was too weak.
On day three he came in, didn't ask how i was doing, and just told me he was taking the hemoststic netting out. He did it very roughly hurting me and causing more bleeding. He didn't even apologize and then he said that because he had put in dissolvable stitches, he didnt need to see me again. I was really shocked because at that point i still needed people to walk with me to the bathroom. How do you not follow up with a patient who has just had major surgery? It was at that point that it really hit home that his initial show of compassion and concern in his videos is really just marketing to bring in patients. He doesnt even give you a phone number to call him in case of emergency after surgery.

Two days later alone in my hotel, finally able to sleep and eat decent food, i realized that my brow, which was lower than the other one after surgery, was lower because the muscle wasnt working.

The doctors coordinator Emily then told me that the doctor would see me at 7:45 pm in his office in two days. When i said i couldnt come at that time, they said he wouldnt see me at all. Not even by Zoom. When i told Emily that the way the doctor was treating me was unethical and i voiced my concerns she cut off all contact and refused to respond.
On day four at my hotel my heart started racing and i had to go to the local Medipol hospital by taxi to the ER. I had no way to get ahold of doctor Yilmaz nor do I think he would care.

On top of all of this, after the surgery i asked the doctor if he did everything and he said yes everything and "more" without explaining what he meant. When i tried to get my hospital records to see what he did during surgery, the hospital informed me that they couldnt give me my records because the doctor refused to verify my hospital records.
I will be filing a complaint against this doctor but it is clear that he believes he can treat patients anyway he sees fit without any recourse. They also failed to provide transport for me to the airport when i was leaving.

Reply to Doctor's Response: This is a sham response from Dr. Yilmaz. As you can see, he did not dispute anything I said as untrue because I can prove everything I said. He specifically told me before I left the hospital on the third day that he didn't need to see me again. It was only AFTER I told Emily the coordinator that my left brow wouldn't raise that they scheduled an appointment for me at 7:45 at night. They made NO attempt to reschedule me as a I had a work event, and after the doctor yelling at me and removing the hemostatic netting so roughly, I was in truth also afraid to go to the appointment alone because I had no idea how I would be treated or what they would do. I didn't feel safe. To date, I still don't know what this doctor did to my face at the hospital because he won't verify the hospital records, so the hospital won't release the records to me. I have all of the text messages to prove he is a liar.

I spent a long time choosing a doctor in Turkey. The first time I chose a clinic recommended by influencers and I was not satisfied.
I was looking for a doctor who is focused on the patient and not production like in a factory.
Dr. Muhsin Yilmaz met all my requirements and even more.
He is not only a doctor of plastic surgery but also has a lot of experience in the field of reconstruction. This inspired confidence in me. I also checked that the doctor is up to date with the latest trends and techniques, because he goes on training courses all over the world.
The hospital is much better than when I had surgeries in another clinic. It looks like a 5-star hotel but most importantly, ithat there are employed only the best professionals..
The entire team was very nice, helpful and friendly. Importantly, after the surgery I was not left to my own, I received a supply of medications and a schedule of meetings with the doctor to check the results of healing after the surgery 👍
In the previous clinic I was left alone with the problems. Besides, Dr. Muhsin Yilmaz had to correct them because it was not done correctly. An equally important role was played by Ms. Rosa who was always available for any of my questions and fulfilled my requests at lightning speed. A wonderful personality who in my difficult moments (comprehensive face and neck lift) She was able to lift my spirits.
I would not have undertaken such an operation anywhere else but with Dr. Muhsin Yilmaz. I am writing this opinion out of gratitude because I really wish the doctor many satisfactory operations and many patients.

From start to finish, my experience with Dr Muhsin Yílmaz and his team has been remarkable they could not have done any more to make this journey any better.. all very professional and at the same time kind and thoughtful, visits to hospital, hotel,airport were organized so well by Dr Muhsin & his team.

This was a great Journey

The hospital exuded cleanliness and tidiness, and the staff radiated warmth and politeness. Despite not speaking Turkish, I never encountered any awkward moments or language barriers.

My coordinator, a truly helpful lady, kept me informed at every stage, ensuring I was fully prepared for every aspect of my journey. From scheduling check-ups to the day of my operation, everything went seamlessly.

As for my doctor, he was refreshingly direct and immensely supportive. Prior to meeting him, I had seen his work showcased on social media, and it was undeniably top-notch – a solid 10/10. And this is only day 7 post-operation; I can only imagine the final result once I'm fully healed.

Overall, every staff member I encountered at Hospital was friendly, helpful, and polite. I extend my heartfelt thanks for the professional customer service and exceptional care I received, which I would rate a perfect 10/10.

They are truly a 100% amazing company. From every step, to every person, to even the building itself, they are the upmost professionals and the most helpful. My praise is not easily given, and they deserve every bit of it. I would recommend this company to everyone, and especially to people I know, because I know if I sent them my family and friends they would be taken care of with the same highest level of professionalism and respect and help that I received. I would like to extend my gratitude to Dr. Yilmaz and his team at Time Clinic, the Doruk Hospital and all the nurses who took care of me before, during and after my surgery. I had a incredible possitive experience in expertise, advice, care, treatment and proceedures during my 6 day stay.
The minute I landed in Turkey I was received by a driver, Turgut and he was polite, helpful and resourceful. The transfer from the airport to the hospital was a breeze. The hospital facilities were above and beyond high tech, super clean and the meals were absolutely healthy and delicious.
Dr. Yilmaz was so helpful with my questions, concerns and put me at ease with every aspect of the procedures I had chosen to undergo. His clinic and staff at the clinic were also so accommodating. Aron, a translator and co-ordinator of all the aspects of preparing my travels to Turkey was of help 24/7. I am so pleased with every aspect of my experience and can't wait to return in the fall to have another visit. I highly recommend Dr. Yilmaz for cosmetic procedures and actually have referred some friends for his expertise. My results are without a doubt a calling card for his services. I've only been home for 3 days and I have had so many compliments!!!
