terrible experience, painful and bad result
I got my septum pierced here a couple of weeks ago. I was greeted by Jim, who was also the one who pierced me. From the beginning, I felt there was something wrong with the position and look of the piercing, but I decided to wait for it not to be as swollen. It must be mentioned that the piercing process hurt really badly and had me squinting and retreating from the touch. This, as I have been told later, is not normal to experience.
After a while I decided to get a second opinion on how the piercing was performed, and I went to meet with a piercer in Copenhagen who was really nice and provided a lot of information about piercings which has not been given to me at Timeless Art. She explained to me that the piercing was done completely incorrect, the needle didn't go through the "sweet spot", so it was really painful and tougher to pierce, since it was done through cartilage. She explained to me that my nose is shaped in a way that makes it look not straight, but she also suggested solutions for me to have it look better after getting it done correctly, something that the piercer at Timeless Art didn't tell me. She said I should've also been given another size for my jewel, because the other one was a bit too big. At Timeless Art, I just got in and got pierced without even being explained how everything works and if there were any possibilities that the piercing might come out wrong. I would also like to mention that when she removed the jewel, she looked at it and said that it was bad quality since it was an externally threaded jewel. I didn't know about this, but I feel like it should be said :)
Before getting it removed, I went to Timeless Art to get a refund, which I think should be the minimum, but the person at the reception said it was not possible and they would offer me a free piercing instead, which, as you can imagine, is not something I planned to do after my experience in the studio. I would've liked to speak to Jim, and he was not there, but since I only went there to let them know and possibly get my refund, it didn't really matter.
This review is to tell my experience and let everyone know to be careful and think thoroughly before going there, it might go smoothly to you but it didn't to me and I think it should be said. Now I have to wait a month to get my piercing redone, and I lost 400kr+, but I am confident I will have a better experience elsewhere.
