I bought phone from them. After 5 months use, it was dead brick. They requested me to send it to them, instead to the manufacturer's service center (stolen elsewhere, presumably out of Europe???). After 3 weeks, when I asked, they replied that they will have phone back tomorrow. another week passed and they told me that they will send me a full refund next day. It was one week ago. as you could guess - no refund (based on their intentionally false information, I have bought replacement handset elsewhere, from more reliable retailer). I called them today, and the info was: we need another opinion on the phone. Who is able to issue another opinion, if phone was serviced in legal manufacturer's service center under warranty (if it would be legally sold, not stolen item?).

to conclude quickly: if you are really so bored that you need to have a legal case to obtain your monies back - buy from them.

If not - avoid at all cost.

Like many others. Ordered, did not receive what I paid for, and now left trying to recover through judgements and legal route. Stay well clear!! Scam business that should not be allowed to carry on trade in the UK.

My friend made the mistake of ordering a lens from this sorry excuse for a company. The second error came by paying with his debit card.
Like so many other reviewers, the item never arrived (because it was never shipped).
Ben gave a stream of continual lies about obtaining a refund. He is a compulsive liar. After 6 months of waiting, he doesn't even bother to respond to emails.
We are now having to go down the legal route to obtain the money back. With the number of equally disgruntled people on this site, maybe collective legal action may be the way forward.
Just please don't make the same mistake.

If, like us, you have already been ripped off by this company please report it by filling in the form at Actionfraud, the UK national fraud and internet crime reporting centre.

By doing so, it might bring the perpetrators to justice and indeed prevent someone else becoming a victim of their crime.

Without a doubt, the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They never reply to any emails, they don't return calls after they promise to and they lie constantly.

After waiting for 3 weeks, having been told that the product was on it's way and would be with me shortly, I cancelled my order. The website said that the phones were in stock, but that was wrong. They lied to me on numerous occasions and had I not called them to chase up, I would still be waiting now.

It has taken 2 weeks to get the money back. I was told it would take 48 hours. I have called them 4 times to find out when the money would be transferred and every time I do, they lied and told me it would be back in my account the next day.

These people are compulsive liars. DO NOT use them. Clearly their low prices are such because you get ZERO service. The are incompetent and not worthy of anyones time or money. Ben, you and your staff have been awful to have to deal with. I can't believe your company is still in operation when you treat your customers like this.

purchased a phone handset of tiptopelectronics.co.uk i paid with amazon payments ordered an expensive case for the phone,£30 next day i received an e-mail of tiptopelectronics.co.uk saying order cancelled.Phone was still in stock i paid £111 now the phone was £139,i phoned the company and told i would get a call later in the day after being on hold for an age,the call never came,do not be fooled by these charlatons

I recently purchased a Samsung note 3 from Tiptopelectronics. Shipped from Hong Kong and taking one week to arrive - in perfect condition. However, I didn't expect to have to pay the Duty on the phone - this was an additional cost. Toptop had a very competitive price - I dropped them an email about the phone and the gentleman was extremely helpful. I'm very excited about my new phone!

I ordered a Canon EOS M kit with two lenses. Tip Top messed me about for over a month waiting for it, and promised me it would be delivered "next week" on three separate occasions. It still showed no sign of turning up, and I could tell I was being lied to. I asked for my money back. This was only given grudgingly and I had to chase them for this. On this experience, I am deeply suspicious of their business and motives.

Ordered my Samsung Galaxy Mega phone thankfully paid via paypal. Delivery states 7-10 days. Two weeks later still no phone. I contact Ben who says phone out of stock coming in soon. OK so I have to wait but sent periodic emails to check delivery. Over 3 weeks I'm fed up as No phone and no email contact from firm. I email them and learn still waiting on delivery from stockist. I ask for my money back. Well still waiting for that too so contacted PayPal who thankfully got my money back. I'm glad others got what they ordered but I cannot give a recommendation as I feel their customer service is woefully lacking.
