Negative experience, poor customer service
I ordered a frameset and paid the full amount (around 2000€) in August 2025 from titaniumbikestore.com. The frameset was marked as in stock with 4 weeks estimated shipping.
After inquiring on the delivery status in October, I was promised a delivery within 10 days.
In November I was promised again that the delivery will happen soon and they explained that they are facing customs issues.
In December I needed to inquire again to get more information on the status of the delivery, as there was no active communication from their end.
The frameset was finally delivered at the end of December - more than 16 weeks after payment.
The delivered goods were incomplete, however. Instead of a titanium seat post as ordered, a cheaper aluminium seat post was delivered. I did not receive any communication that the shipped goods are different than ordered. In addition, the shipped titanium stem had a different length than ordered.
My request to reimburse the cost difference for the seat post was ignored and I was promised again that it will be shipped soon once it is back in stock.
After a second request to reimburse the cost difference in January, I was promised that it will be delivered mid February.
Unsurprisingly, this did not happen and after more than 1/2 year after order and payment the delivery is still incomplete without any refund or resolution until now.
I can confirm the poor experiences with Robert Bikes / Titanium BikeStore made by the previous reviewer(s).
I saw poor customer service and questionable practices in accepting new orders and taking full payment upfront, while not being able to meeting stated delivery times or addressing order issues adequately.
Update:
After pushing again, I have finally received a refund of the cost difference in March. The overall negative impression remains.
