Brought my sons first ever nitro car from here last week for his Christmas present. We had a problem with it today something snapped I called them and and there were happy to help straight away. Grate bunch of guys willing to help.

Best model shop around..... as was a complete beginner but helped us over the phone get it up and running . My son got an zorro ftx and really happy with products and customer service

I purchased my first ever RC Car though them and they were most helpful and I got my order very quickly within 2 days. I experienced no problems whatsover and I will be purchasing another one from them very soon.
Top service with no problems at all.

Placed an order for an RC car body shell which was listed as in-stock and ready to ship.

After almost 4 weeks I sent two chasing emails and never received a response, and still haven't to this day.

In the end I raised a dispute with Paypal and my money was refunded. They didn't respond to the dispute, but at this point I can't say I was surprised.

Poor service and Covid is no longer the defacto excuse for not looking after your customers.

Do not use this company. They are absolutely disgusting. My 9 year old son saved up his pocket money which wasn’t easy(as kids alway was ant to spend). He ordered an rc boat as this model was in stock here but not where he got his previous one from. As I said on their website it was in stock. He waited a week for delivery and nothing arrived I phoned up last week. I was told that this was not in stock anymore. I asked for a refund so my son could go else where. I was told 3 days. A week later and no money has been put into his account. I phone today to find out they hadn’t processed the payment. But they have now and he has to wait apparently another 3 days!! I do not trust there word I would would warn you all against using them!! My son is only 9 and I keep trying to explain but he doesn’t understand why his money isn’t back when he waited after they took it straight away from him and didn’t even have the product. (I would understand if it was a pre order but it wasn’t it said in stock). Disgusting and mistrustful.

Been using this shop for alot my new and even used hobby related products great Freinds made alot of new Freinds world leaders in this trade great service through out the covid season
Owner John is very laid back and a great person for tuning nitro cars

Would highly this shop for all your crawlers off roads drifters and they stick a wide variety of planes and helicopters with some beautiful display lanes hanging above your head

Ordered a drone from my local TJD model shop as these guys have always been so helpful in the past. Placed order online and arrived about a week later as no store stock. Unfortunately the wrong drone was sent and at 1st I was very disappointed. So I immediately contacted the shop and spoke to one of there very polite members of staff. Amazingly within 10 minutes they had sent a guy out and the unit was swapped!! Wow!! now that's what i call service!! Well done guys, even in these hard times you are all still firmly on the ball!! Will highly recommend as these guys are awesome. thanks again.

I took a very old school RC car that was not working into TJD Models
to see if they could help. The staff were very helpful indeed.
They found out what the problem was. I highly recommend the shop and staff.

I put a bad review on here but have deleted it because
a) The owner very quickly responded and reassured me and
b) I jumped to an incorrect conclusion regarding my reason for complaining

Very good company. Perhaps more staff needed when busy

Excellent service.
We bought our son a car and it stopped working, took it here and they looked at it and informed us it had seized up.
The guy got some spray and sprayed areas and that was it fully working again.
He gave us lots of advice on the car and informed us they can always order in parts if need be
And with that didn’t charge us for the spray or he’s time.
Really can’t fault the service and I no this is where we return to should any other problems arise.

Great to see a real model shop not many about. TJD Models is packed with goodies for RC and model makers, the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Items priced seemed to be as good or cheaper than I could find on the interweb. This was my first visit I will see myself returning many times.

An excellent company with above and beyond customer service for my wife and me. Having little knowledge of models cars, and wanting to buy something durable and long lasting for the kids for Christmas, the staff at TJD Models took the time to understand our budget and needs for a radio controlled car. They proposed a very suitable model and helped us understand the accessories we would need to give our kids the best first experience of RC cars. There was no hard sell, just good honest advise. I hardly ever leave reviews, but me and my wife's experience compelled us to leave one. I would highly recommend TJD Model, and will be a returning customer for many years to come.

For me being a novice to Remote Control Cars - advice is everything. I popped into the shop to purchase a car for my son's 12th b'day and came away fully equipped with the knowledge required to make the right purchase.

I didn't feel pressurised or 'Sold to' at all.

I highly rate TJD Models.

An excellent, treasure trove of a model shop, run by extremely friendly and helpful people. It's also one of the largest, most well stocked model shops that I've been in.

I've shopped here for years always excellent service, brilliant aftersales as well, a proper Model Shop in every sense of the word.

I brought my 9 Year Old son his first remote control car earlier this month and I can honestly say the advice and service that I received was second to none!
We had an unfortunate mishap with it on our second trip out which devastated my son as he absolutely love his new car.
I popped back to TJD this morning (Sunday!) with my son and car and they guys couldn't be anymore helpful!
They spent just over an hour fixing the car and we were back over the park this afternoon having fun with his new pride and joy!!
Thanks so much guys, I can't recommend your pre and after sales service enough!!
We will be back for sure...maybe one for me next time!! :)
