tlt solicitors avoid them..

they were dealing with a surplus of funds after home sale, we received the first call where he spoke in legalise, even when I asked them to explain it was no more simple, we have been waiting weeks for a form my wife can fill in to certify her ID officially, despite talking to us on the phone and passing several id checks to speak to us, they are slow, dim witted, keep failing to action requests and full of apologies but no actions, if this company ranks in the top 50, I can only assume there are only 50 companies in this country, they are beyond incapable... gave them a 1 star as 0 is not available.

Extremely concerning experience with…

Extremely concerning experience with TLT Solicitors Bristol.
I complied fully with a Judge’s order to maintain payments and had clear bank evidence. Their representative even acknowledged this — yet still told the Judge the opposite in court.

Worse, they failed to properly notify me of a critical hearing:

14 March 2025: TLT received hearing date (confirmed by court)

26 March 2025: They sent me the letter

28 March 2025: Hearing took place

29 March 2025: I received the letter — after the hearing

As a result, I unknowingly missed the hearing and a possession order was granted in my absence.

This was not just poor communication — it had serious consequences and raises real concerns about fairness and conduct.

Would give zero stars if I could

Would give zero stars if I could, TLTLLP are one of the most useless companies ive ever had to deal with, they placed a restriction on my house when i brought it 15 years ago as a repossession, I am in the final stages of selling my house but without this restriction being lifted the purchasers cannot register the house in their names, Me my partner and my solicitor have been in contact on multiple occasions over the last 2 and a half weeks, they do not get back to you, do not respond to emails and fob you off over the phone, this is the only thing holding up my completion and im fuming, disgusting company absolutely useless incompetent waste of space that should have their license removed, how a company can place a restriction on my property 15 years ago and then make it so hard to sort out is beyond me, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

I cannot believe this company is still allowed to operate its tarnished the whole industry and why do the solicitors regulators turn a blind eye .The fraudulent paperwork i received was astonishing . They also love to create stress by purposefully changing different members staff you liaise with to cause more distress and confusion., NO wonder the public perception of the justice system is corrupt when greedy, lying ,fraudulent companies like this still operate

Santander Illegal Company

Has anyone else had serious issues with TLT LLP while acting on behalf of Santander during or after the Alliance & Leicester mortgage migration?

I’ve raised concerns with them around document handling, unauthorised data use, and legal inconsistencies—some involving sensitive matters like an ambulance being sent using a phone number not supplied by me, and internal references to mental health without proper context or consent.

One matter also relates to legal correspondence signed by a member of staff in Belfast regarding mortgage documentation that I believe raises further legal questions.

I’ve asked TLT LLP directly for answers and hope this can be resolved fairly. If not, I’ll be posting updates publicly and sharing what I’ve uncovered to help anyone in a similar situation.

Feel free to contact me if you've had similar experiences and want to compare findings.

Commuication is POOR

Communication with and from this company is disgusting. When we first contacted them in January 2025, we did not receive a response from TLT solicitors until April 2025. This was regarding the proceedings to reposses a property listed in a Will.

It seems as though beneficeries are not protected by this company unless the Executor grants the firm authorisation to discuss the case. This is due to confidentiality and Data Protection when sharing such information.

It will be interesting to see if the money from the forced sale of the property, is then divided amongst the beneficeries without a grant of probate.

Hi andi

Thank you providing feedback. However, reading your review we think it is for a different business called TLT. We are a UK law firm and do not provide taxi services. Would it be possible for you to take down your review?

Kind regards

This company is void of a moral…

This company is void of a moral compass, empathy, respect or integrity.
I am an old age pensioner who has been the victim of 18 years of relentless abuse, mortgage fraud and unlawful dealings on the part of Mortgages Plc who are represented by TLT. I asked for an adjournment for a court hearing coming up on January 15th & 16th 2025 after my barrister pulled out on me in the week before Christmas leaving me unable to find new counsel. This vile company heartlessly emailed me today 27th December 24 refusing me the compassion of an adjournment.
Whilst there have been several adjournments one of which was due to Mortgages Plc setting the wrong date, and my GP writing to the court to say I was in not fit state to attend after a debt collector from Mortgages Plc attacked me in my own home leaving me housebound and disabled with a fractured left hip and right shoulder and I am in 24/7 pain with this still and void of suppport as I have just lost all of my family and I am grieving, the refusal of an adjournment when I am in mental anguish and mouring with no counsel to represent me now, is just barbaric, heartless and cruel beyond all belief. I am not surprised to see that this company as with Mortgages Plc who they represent, have such scathing reviews on TrustPilot. The level of depravity and abuse these people stoop to is appalling and it is high time they were the subject of a public censure and being prosecuted for abuse and underhanded dealings.
They are a disgrace to their profession and should be ashamed of themselves.
Avoid them at all costs they are inhumane and lack morals and respect. nasty is an understatement. Very unprofessional and insist on posting bundle of papers instead of emailing people with download links as with everyone else in the 21st century we are supposed to be in. This is of course to be as difficult and obstructive as possible and they were told I had no scanner and was hobbling around in agony on a fractured hip and the nearest shops and post office was a 10 mile round trip by car, the cost of sending out any bundles to a new lawyer would be heavy if I could get to the post office which I can't and they know this. They take advantage of your disadvantages and play as durty as possible. Very nasty insipid people who need to be closed down and avoided at all costs. Horrid horrid people.

Con men…

Con men…. I don’t understand how this is a legitimate company. Impossible to get a consistent answer and manager callback process is one call and a voicemail within 48 hours .. if you happen to miss it, tough luck.

Poor customer service

I have attempted to contact this company on six different occasions to discuss my account, firstly the recording is so quite you can hardly hear what is being said and then you wait over one hour for an Advisor to answer the call. Once they do and I state it is regarding a Santander account you are placed on hold again for another 10 minutes to then be told, all the Advisors are busy and cannot take your call. I was advised twice, I would be put on a call back list and receive a call within '48 business hours' which never happened. How are you even meant to attempt to resolve your account when you are just on hold and can not speak to anyone. I even asked for a Manager to make a complaint, to be told they do not us the phones and I can make the complaint with the Advisor...

Worse than poor

OK, so I spoke to my mortgage lender to clear the arrears 30th May They said I could clear the arrears but they wouldn't restart the DD as it had been passed to their solicitors TLT

They gave me the number of 0340 265 4119, I called and was answered after 45 mins & advised that they didn't deal with that type of account. They then gave me 0333 006 0061.

I called the new number and pressed the correct selections, after 45 mins the line went dead.

I called back and was.answered after 45 mins by a man who said 'let me just verify your details'. I listened to hold music for a further 10 mins until the line went dead.

Fast forward to w/c 17th June called and the line went dead after 30 mins, I called again and this time requested a call-back by pressing zero.

As call-backs take 48 business hours (OVER 1 WEEK) I called again on Monday 17th, answered after 40 mins by a chap who said after trying x 3 to get me through to the correct team advised thar I should call again the next day at 8.30am as they'd be less busy.

Tuesday 18th I called at 8.28 the recorded announcement said THE OFFICE IS NOW CLOSED PLEASE CALL BACK BETWEEN 8am - 6pm??

I called again at 8.31am and was answered by a lady who advised me that the team I needed DIDN’T OPEN UNTIL 9am! I explained the situation

I called back @ 9.03am and spoke to a man who tried to get me through without success. He advised me that he had spoken to a team leader (called Nick) who would call me back between 4pm-6.30pm,.NO SUCH CALL WAS FORTHCOMING

Both my home phone and mobile have voicemail (no messages were left). It is now the next working day, so have decided to write this 1 star review.

DO BETTER TLT!!
