I had TOC respray a bicycle frame for me with a carrier. When I got it back ever surface had been sprayed including steerer tube, all screw holes, no masking at all even bottom bracket thread sprayed. Took TOC time to clear surfaces and still not right.
TOC are a specialist engineering company. I believe the owner has an interest in cycles.
I wanted a bicycle frame repainted relatively locally, repainting firms are few and far between in The Midlands.
TOC were relatively close and easily accessed off Coventry Eastern Bypass.
They were recommended by two friends, one of which had had a frame repair and repaint.
I had a repaint, removal of two bosses and attaching of my own decals. The work was absolutely excellent.
The aftercare was equally good. I was unable to attach my gear hanger after the repaint. They said bring the frame down during opening hours and they would look at it at the time. It turned out that I had mislaid the nut for the gear hanger bolt. Without implying I was an idiot (which I was) they took my gear hanger and attached it to the frame. All was done while I waited a short while.
I would happily recommend TOC, for bicycle repainting etc.
