Misleading warranty information. Beware

I bought a nose,ear trimmer from this Company. This product claims a full lifetime replacement warranty. I've had the product just over 4 years and it's not cutting properly anymore.
When I contacted their customer service I was told that the top of the trimmer blades were not warrantied and I would have to buy a replacement tip. But, they said they would replace the tip(a 4.95 item, for free) Because I'm out of the US I would have to pay in US dollars the shipping. With conversion to US money I could buy a replacement trimmer.
No where did it say it was a limited warranty. No where did it say that the blades dull after a time.
I believe this is fraudulent, or at best deliberately misleading warranty information. I would not recommend any company that does this
