Problem after 10 months and no solution offered”
About 10 months ago we had a toldo (awning) installed by Toldos Costa Blanca. Initially everything seemed fine, but unfortunately the fabric has already torn.
The most frustrating part is that during the installation we were never informed that even light wind could cause the fabric to rub against the wall. According to a representative who later came to inspect the problem, a PVC plate should have been installed on the wall to prevent this from happening.
This was never mentioned by the installers at the time. Considering that they install these systems every day, we would expect them to inform customers about such an important detail to prevent damage.
We are now being told that the entire fabric must be replaced and that a PVC plate has to be installed, with a total cost of around €1000, which the company says we must pay ourselves.
For a product that is less than a year old, we expected better advice and better after-sales service. We would still appreciate it if the company contacted us to find a fair solution.
