Bad moderation and terrible support
Paid for the label plan, didn't think you needed documents for EVERYTHING, sure, I get it, things come up and they need proof. But to reject the documents? I guess a four minute screen recording of the beat and vocals isn't enough. Not to mention that a week in approval, and they SAME copy and paste generic reply for everything. They refuse to deliver to Instagram for half of their releases and do NOT give a reason as to why. Same with releases, no reason as to what got flagged

"I tried using Tolosst "Feeling deceived
I regret joining Tolosst. It took a very long time — months — and none of my albums were ever published, yet they kept asking for monthly payments and tried to automatically charge my account, even though nothing was ever released.
Meanwhile, when I used other free platforms with no upfront fees, my albums got approved within 1–3 days without any hassle. Tolosst was overly complicated, gave me no results, and just wasted my time.
After I refused to keep paying, they blocked my access to the dashboard. I’m very disappointed.

Too Lost is IT
Carly is the BEST and absolutely sold me on Too Lost! I have been a distrokid artist since i started dropping music and it was always a goal of mine to sign with a distributor that would take me seriously and put their trust in me. When Carly reached out to me, knew my music and asked me to set up a meeting, I started to see that goal become a reality. It’s the most reassuring thing as an artist to have someone believe in you, but the Too Lost team, thanks to Carly in particular, went the extra mile to help me get set up on their platform and answer any questions I had along the way! Documentation takes forever
They are somewhat quick on customer tickets but whenever I upload my licenses and documents with the release they always wait several days and then ask me to provide documentation. Which then takes another week for them to review. They never seem to receive the documentation with the release even though I've uploaded it. This has happened on 12 releases so far and holds up the whole process by about 2 weeks!

Great for emerging artists
I made the switch from another distrubtor about 2 years ago and since then TooLost has been very supportive to me as an artist. The staff they have to answer questions and support me has been top notch. They've been super supportive in my releases and have even went above and beyond to provide additional marketing for me. Highly recommend :)

High Hopes, Poor Reality
Saw a great review of Too Lost on aristake a long time ago but unfortunately, my experience has been consistently downhill.
The Good:
The best thing about them is access to Spotify Discovery mode, they managed to get some extra streams for one of the artists I had distributed and that was good for a few months.
Surface level analytics are decent too, if you’re a single artists who doesn’t need to dive deep and just wants the basics, the data is there and easily displayed.
The Bad:
Payout approval is genuinely the slowest that I’ve ever personally experienced from a distribution platform. It also took literally MONTHS for them to approve my tax document for my first payout, they took ages to reply to me and continually sent tax documents for an individual instead of a company, the delay was extremely painful and long.
The approvals for music distribution is also painfully slow, I have zero confidence of being able to plan a release less than 4 weeks in advance.
The access to data is also very bad if you want anything beyond basic streaming numbers for the biggest streaming platforms.
All in all, they don’t seem to offer anything new vs the other large distributors and the delay in responses from their support and slow payouts mean that I have not continued to use them and have gone back to using a different platform.

Terrible distribution services
Slow release approval times. Bad customer support, they take weeks to get back to you. They claim my music matched someone else’s music meanwhile I didn’t use samples in the song - this happened twice. I provided proof of ownership and they still couldn’t help me.

As an independent distro label owner
As an independent label owner, Too Lost has been a game-changer for me. The platform is super easy to use, transparent with reporting, and quick with royalty payouts. What really sets them apart is how artist-friendly they are instead of hidden fees or complicated terms, they give creators and labels real ownership and control.
The support team is responsive, and the distribution process is smooth across all major DSPs. Too Lost has made it possible for my label to focus less on logistics and more on growing our artists. Great user experience
Great user experience. Very easy to navigate with lots of helpful tools for artists to be as hands on as they want to. TooLost allows independent artists to do virtually everything a label would do for them all on their own.

TooLost makes everything simple and clear. Uploading is fast, and the dashboard is thorough while still easy to use and understand. I like that you can download your uploads and keep everything organized in one place. Migration was smooth, and the system actually gives you control over your releases in ways other distros don’t. Support has been responsive and helpful. Best distro I’ve used so far, by far.

EASY!
Recently started using Too Lost to distribute. I love using the analytics portal to see where my music is being played, presaves, and send announcements to listeners. I will only ever use Too Lost, I cant recommend it enough especially for smaller artists.
