I placed an order for nitrile gloves…

I placed an order for nitrile gloves and the website stated that if I complete my order it will be shipped in the next 24 hours and have a delivery date of September 17-23, after I placed my order a covid message appeared and stated that my order will be delayed 3-5 days more, what a scam, then I called the customer service and the street walker that I spoke to offered me a $25 gift card like I can wear that crap on my hand and get protected from chemicals then she proceeded to talk about herself that she's been working there for 10 years instead of resolving the issue at hand (Ruth). Never going to order from them again. Ruth you can shove it up your rear end!
Mila Parnell, a very professional problem solver and the voice of the client department at ToolID has fixed the issue of when will I receive my items. She had it shipped and I received it the very next day and as promised I will update my review to be fair. I added two stars from my previous rating of the company and the level of customer service provided by Ruth, all because Mila Parnell has saved the day. Thanks again Mila Parnell, keep up the good work and make the company shine.

Had my first experience with Toolsid

Had my first experience with Toolsid. I am not happy with the level of customer service. I am not used needing to return an item and being judge so badly that I am asked to prove why the item does not work for me.

I order a cordless heat gun on 8/23/21. It arrived as expected. The heat gun was to be used for a very simpy task. It was to melt hard glue. With the promise of a 600 degree max temperature, I assumed this would be easy.

The performance tool cordless heat gun, with a lifetime warranty failed miserably.

When attempting to return the 7 day old gun, I was told I would need to send a video showing that the gun does not meet my satisfaction.

Why would i jump through those hoops? I am not happy with it, just kindly refund me.

Terrible company....Never again.

My order could not be stopped.

My order could not be processed according to their website, so I ordered thru another supplier. 10 minutes later I was emailed that the order was processed. I called to cancel and was told it would be 5-9 days. The next day I received a notice that the order was already shipped, and I could file for a refund with a re-stocking fee and I would need to pay return shipping. I could not stop the order and the part came and was only 3 pieces, not the full 12 pc kit that was pictured on their site. I called again, and was told they would need 5-9 days to review the order and they did not know how many pieces were in the kit. There are many better companies to buy from is all I can say!!

Scammers

Read the reviews, don't be fooled by the appearance of the website.
Received a defective item, the process to return is a running joke.
1) Submitted a ticket, with the photos
2) Called to follow up, customer assistant used the standard trick "your voice is breaking up" and placed me on hold for 5 minutes
3) Second customer assistan asked for the photos again (see #1, already submitted) and promised to send a return label after that
4) After sending the photos again they said that it's a warranty claim and must be approved by the manufacturer.
Stay away from these jokers.

Ordered 4 Performance Tool Mini-Grease…

Ordered 4 Performance Tool Mini-Grease Guns W54291 from ToolsID.com. Initially it showed $0 shipping cost, but when I went to check out it was now $14.99 for the 4 grease guns. That's still a reasonable cost for shipping the 4 grease guns which were claimed to be "in stock", so I completed the order. Four grease guns at $9.07 each plus tax and shipping, $51.27 out the door. I soon get an email from Olivia Zack in their Customer Service that says the manufacturer just informed them that the shipping for my order would be more expensive. To process the order they need to charge an additional $58.61! If I want it contact them immediately otherwise they will cancel my order and issue a refund. I canceled the order. Hope they indeed refund my $51.27 as promised. I also left a review on their web site. We'll see if they approve my review and post it on their site.

Bottom line, they lied about having it in stock and merely drop-ship from the manufacture. Also their shipping price is a bait and switch. Fortunately they emailed me about the increased cost before just charging it without my approval.

Rip off and a scam

Rip off and a scam. Buyers beware they are selling disposable gloves and the qty is 75 percent smaller than advertised. You are not getting 100 each but 40. Thats false advertisement.

Bad Customer Service

I ordered a spot welder. It was suppose to ship maybe a week after the order was placed, which was fine. 3+ weeks go by and nothing. I call ToolsID.com, they were very nice. They couldn't provide a definitive ship date so I had to cancel the order because I needed the tool right away- so I ordered it from Amazon and received it next day. About two or three days later, the ToolsID order was delivered!

I called and they will let me return it but I have to pay shipping both ways. None of this would have happened if they had correct ordering/shipping information in the first place, but now this is my fault I guess since they are making me pay for shipping both ways. Bad customer service, this is why Amazon is going to wipe out companies like this. Amazon, you can like them or not, have a keen focus on their customer service and will always do the right thing.

Im thinking ToolsID is a scam.

I'm thinking ToolsID is a scam. I passed up a more expensive pump from another company because the ToolsID folks said they could get it to me in about a week. I was on a tight timeline for the project but a week was great at the better price point. I wish I had gone with the reputable company. It is now almost three weeks out. I still don't even have a tracking number! I have contacted them many times. Still no good answers. Customer service offers me a $25 card to spend at their site. That's far from good enough for my missed deadline and all the trouble communicating with them. I am going to try to get a refund. Will update this site about that process.

Toolsid is Untrustworthy

Toolsid is Untrustworthy.

On 9/18/2020 I cancelled the 2 week old order for the socket rails they said were in stock but were not. I have not recieved a refund. PayPal will bot help so I called my credit card company. I will probably never see my money again. Complete scam company. This is the email I recieved from them.

Order has been delayed by 2 months

Order has been delayed by 2 months. I’m getting one answer from the manufacturer, and one answer from ToolsID. Customer service is a joke. Managers are not available upon request, and when they call you back they yell at the you (the customer).

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible company! ordered a $3,000+ order on 7/27 and paid for order. Waited a week for tools to arrive, nothing arrived and no updates. Called 8/3 and was told billing was under review because of discount, but they were working on it. Called next day, I was told the products would be shipping out in a couple days because they got the billing straightened out. Now 8/11 called again and nobody knows what is going on. Horrible. You can't talk to management because customer service wont let you. They say that management will call but they never do.

Don't order from this company or any of their other companies!!!!

I placed an order with ToolsiD 05/29/2020. It should be noted that ToolsiD is the same as CariD and CamperiD (looking at the BBB site, they all fall under Onyx Corp and have an absolutely terrible rating). The product was received on 06/05/2020 and was severely damaged. I filed a claim with ToolsiD on the same day of receipt (06/05/2020). I sent multiple emails and made multiple phone calls during a 12 day timespan until finally on 06/17/2020 I received a call from a supervisor (Liezel Diaz ext 8765) who noted that the claim was being processed and a new order created to pick up the damaged until and replace with a new unit.

The new order was processed on 06/18/2020. I sent an email on 06/27/2020 asking for an update, a little over 24 hours later (06/27/2020) I received an email reply that indicated I would receive an update within 24-48 business hours. As of 07/02/2020 there has been no correspondence whatsoever. I contacted Liezel ext 8765, which subsequently went to voicemail (for a person named Matthew B).

On 07/02/2020 I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge as I have had no successful interaction with ToolsiD. Not once has anyone called me back or emailed me. I have had to instantiate all communications with ToolsiD and even at that they couldn’t tell me anything or provide any resolution. Everything was always 24-48 hours later. Interestingly enough on July 3rd 2020 I received my first proactive email from Tools ID, it was sourced from my dispute with credit card company. Still nothing from them though other than a request to close the dispute, which I told them I would not until they provide me with what I paid for or gave me a full refund.

I heard nothing from ToolsiD. I called on 2020-07-15 and left a message for the manager Liezal Diaz (ext 8765). I called back right after leaving my message and spoke to the Support team. They noted that someone from their internal team would email me by COB on 2020-07-16.

On 2020-07-17 I called and noted that I had not heard from the internal team. I reiterated that I would like a refund. I made support aware that I have left multiple voicemail messages for Liezal and she has not once called me back. I asked to speak with her manager. They would not transfer me to any manager and told me they’d sent a message to their queue and that someone would contact me within 24-48 hours.

I called again on 2020-07-21, left another voicemail message for Liezal Diaz and called back to the regular support number. Supposedly a manager tried to call me yesterday but left no message (there was a call from a New Jersey number that I picked up because I thought it might be them, I said hello three times and hung up after not hearing anything back). I again requested a refund, I also requested to speak to a manager right then and they wouldn’t put me through.

I am at a total loss here. I have a large broken product in my garage taking up a lot of space. I have continually asked for a refund and they won’t provide me one or provide me with what I paid for. I am beyond frustrated and this has been so time consuming and taxing on my end. I’ve received terrible support from this company the entire way. No one cares there or wants to help, it’s absurd. One of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with, not worth the savings on the chance that there is a problem with the product!
