I had a great experience at this clinic. The doctor was very kind and explained everything clearly without any judgment. The service was very fast and efficient. I truly felt comfortable and well cared for. I highly recommend this clinic!

Best clinic !

I had an absolutely brilliant experience with the Consultant at "Top at Home." His advice was clear, concise and simple. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. Great care

Top at Home provided quick, compassionate, efficient care. I contacted them in a hurry to get treatment and was able to pick up medication on the same day! They also gave prompt and helpful guidance when I called for advice.

I ended up hemorraghing and being…

I ended up hemorraghing and being rushed into hospital following my home abortion. After 3 blood transfusions and more iron transfusions to come, I can honestly say the convenience of an ‘at home’ abortion is not worth it. I wish I had seen the GP instead.

Edited to say: following writing this review, whilst recovering in hospital from the operation and major blood loss, I received an argumentative phone call from the doctor of this company to tell me off for my honest review. No ‘I’m sorry this happened to you’. He questioned why I hadn’t called the company when I was bleeding out on my bathroom floor, instead of 999. Absolutely shocking behaviour!

Brilliant and safe to use company. Used for abortion pill service as wait time for NHS bed was 3 weeks. Phone consultation within the hour and next day delivery.

Am so grateful for your quick response to my call for your service assistance on 16/12/2025 .I took the medication has instructed. All my experience looks like the process was successful but I still have to wait the end of three weeks to take a test and confirm that will be on the 7th/01/2026

Really impressed with the service, great communication

I decided to use this service due to the wait times on the NHS. I asked for an emergency service and they arranged an emergency pack for me to collect early from a consultant the next morning. Whilst we were unsure whether the medication worked as it should have, the team have followed up and checked in with me consistently and arranged for follow up scans, which were also promptly reimbursed. I am very happy with the service and the treatment I have received from Top at Home and couldn’t recommend enough if you don’t want to wait for NHS services.

My advice is not to use online services like this but go to a doctor first, whether it is NHS or Private

My general suggestion for women who come across with situation when you need to terminate your pregnancy is to go to a doctor at NHS or Private first, do a scan and get the prescription.
I have panicked and decided to get the pills as soon as possible without doing enough research. I understand that this service is an online service and it might work well IF you don’t have complications. When the process started to go not as expected I called the Dr who suggested to get additional tablets (which happens) but it still didn’t work as expected. By that time I have googled the information about the clinic and the doctor but found very little information. The Dr texted me next day asking how am I and I have explained my symptoms. He said that he will start to “make arrangements” for a scan but he never came back to me.
By that time, I already knew that I want to go to a proper hospital as things didn’t go the right way and I had no trust to this online service.
I just want to make women aware of this situation, if you feel insecure and vulnerable in these situations, go to NHS or gynecologist to look at you and talk to. This online service might work for some but be aware of potential complications and think if you would be comfortable with small online service providers like this one.

Before addressing your concerns, we do want to note respectfully that we are unable to locate any record of a consultation or treatment under your name or details in our system. If you believe this is an error, please contact us privately so we can verify your identity and review your case fully.
We want to ensure that anyone who has used our service receives appropriate follow-up and support.

While the abortion pill is highly effective (97–99%), a small number of women may experience complications such as an incomplete abortion.

In such cases, we always provide a scan free of charge and follow an established clinical referral pathway to ensure patients receive the correct care.

For clinical safety reasons, we would never offer additional tablets without first arranging a scan to exclude an ectopic pregnancy or other complications. This is a strict safety requirement in our clinical protocol.

Telemedical abortion care is safe, highly effective, and widely supported by clinical evidence. Studies consistently show that remote medical abortion has comparable safety and success rates to in-person care, including:

High success rates (97–99%)

Comparable complication rates to in-person services

Faster access to treatment due to reduced waiting times

This model is endorsed by NICE, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), and the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH). Pill-by-post following a teleconsultation was permanently approved by Parliament in 2022.

Top at Home is a private clinic fully licensed and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
All of our gynaecologists have over 30 years of experience in abortion care across the NHS, BPAS, MSI, and private services.

I attempted to use the NHS service and…

I attempted to use the NHS service and hadto wait a week for an appointment only for them to not call me and then had to wait another few days for another appointment during which the nurse made me cry after getting my period date wrong despite correcting myself instantly. Due to getting my period date wrong the nurse insisted I get a scan and the nearest clinic was a 2 hour drive. I raised a complaint and am still yet to hear back from them a month later. Luckily I found this service, paid and had a phone appointment with a doctor an hour later. The pills arrived in the post 2 days later. What started as a very traumatising experience became a lot easier

Just kind and amazing !

Just kind and amazing !! I texted worried and got answers straight away unlike the NHS. So reassured and couldn’t have asked for better in any way. Was worried and they paid for a scan privately at my local scan place to make sure I was safe and because I was very anxious. Couldn’t have been better . Like texting / messaging a friend who is a doctor.
