I just placed an order that at the time of purchase said it anticipated to ship in 2 weeks. I just received an email stating I am now not anticipated to receive the item until late June. This is disappointing- I would not have placed the order had there been more transparency about the shipping time as I needed the item sooner.

Top Modern has great customer service and a great sales staff. I purchased a file cabinet and after it was delivered the manufacturer included a note saying the cherry wood would darken. However, the finish matched my other furniture and would no longer match once it darkened. When I contacted the TopModern customer service department they were very professional and helpful. They were able to arrange for me to exchange the file cabinet for a different finish that would match my other furniture after it darkens. Because the cabinet was beautiful and made well, I decided to buy a second cabinet. The manufacturer charged $370 for returning the cabinet, which was 25% of the cost of the cabinet. After I explained that we were purchasing an additional cabinet and the shipper would have to come out to deliver the replacement and the second cabinet, they agreed to split the shipping cost. The sales staff were also highly professional and helpful. They held the sale price for me even though the sale ended because I waited until the next day when TopModern worked out a lower shipping price.
